Centre of Movement has been instrumental in progressing my son’s development. After being told by doctors he would not walk, we were recommended COM by a friend and jumped at it. The team soon got my son to sit independently, and he is about to walk independently thanks to Steve & Emily’s amazing staff. I’ve now got confidence there is nothing my son can’t achieve, if given the time and dedication shown by this team.
The Centre of Movement has all the latest technology, including the only trexo robotics machine in the southern hemisphere.
The staff are highly skilled and knowledgeable. After attending a three week intensive program, the occupational therapist, physiotherapist and exercise physiologist gave me a thorough home program to follow to keep up my sons progress.
They are very understanding of everyone’s different needs and circumstances, and have lots of tips and tricks to accomodate wherever your child is at.
The reception team made initiating therapy a breeze from the first consultation. We live in rural Queensland but make the pilgrimage to Burleigh several times a year.
I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The centre of movement is amazing. I highly recommend anyone who has a child with mobility issues, global developmental or a disability to come here! Andrew and Kate and amazing occupational therapists. So kind and good at their jobs.

All the exercise therapists are lovely to work with and have catered to my son's needs.

Just a very welcoming therapy clinic to help your child reach for the stars.

My son had sessions on the Trexo and it was such a game changer for him. Before we attended COM he could not walk on his own. After just 4 session on the trexo he is walking. You wouldn't believe it! I still can't.

If you're thinking about doing an intensive...DO IT! You will not regret it and your child will without a doubt benefit.

We have had the best 3 weeks at the Centre of Movement, all the team are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. The setup and space here is amazing with great opportunities that we haven’t been able to access in NZ. We have learnt lots to take home and implement in our day to day lives with our son. We won’t forget our time here and hope to come back one day soon
