I did my medicine placement with Central S.Cardiology, all the staff members, the Tech team, receptionists were really friendly and helpful. The doctors were extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time teaching me in between consultations. 10/10, would do my placement here again .

I have been attending appointments with Prof. Lattimore this year for my elderly father, she is thorough, attentive and polite - She has been very understanding and patient despite my father’s strong European accent which at times can be difficult to understand, not to mention his occasional stubbornness. I speak highly of the service and care that not only she provides but, also her team - Nurse Sarah has been so lovely and communicative throughout this process, going above and beyond to do whatever she can to help support and even the receptionist was so helpful in offering to assist with booking additional appointments both within this office but with other depts, on multiple occasions. I’m so very grateful for this kind of care and conduct.

Called to make an appointment over the phone (after multiple failed attempts to reach them) and managed to book one in for about 4 months later. On the day of the scheduled appointment I called right before I had to leave as I didn't get an appointment reminder/confirmation like you would normally get. Luckily I called because the receptionist told me my appointment had been cancelled because I didn't send in my referral in advance. I wasn't told that I needed to do this when I had booked the appointment, and why wasn't I contacted to send it in instead of just cancelling my appointment without telling me. They didn't even bother booking a new appointment for me and just said "probably sometime next year". Horrendous service and thankfully found another specialist and got an appointment for a few weeks later.

My father saw the A/Professor on 22 March 2022 at which time he was required to undertake tests. Today is 27 May and we still have not received a response from the A/Professor about the outcome of the tests, yes over two months later. I have called several times, each time there are promises by her admin staff that they will do something and when I call next time nothing has been done yet again. When I called last week I was told while the A Professor hasn't yet provided a written response the outcome of the tests were sent to my father's GP. My 82 year old father went to see his GP today and nothing was received, when her staff were contacted they could not find any evidence anything was sent. How disappointing and sad that this is how patients are treated.

I couldn't post without giving at least one star, which I really didn't want to give. I am hoping if there is anything seriously wrong to find another specialist who has some duty of care.

Scheduled an appt for the 22nd November for an echo and consultation only to be told a week or so later that it has to be cancelled as Dr Rehan probably had “something more urgent,” said the receptionist and she made no effort to find me an appointment just kept sniffling on the phone. ( If you’re sick you shouldn’t be working and putting patients at risk anyway). I got referred here for an urgent matter with my heart and this service is not good enough. Hung up rather than listen to poor excuses. So untrustworthy.

I’m under the professional care of Professor Ian Wilcox. He is extremely attentive and never rushes thru the consultations taking his time together with answering all your questions.
I had atrial fibrillation and after a lengthy process of tests etc was referred to Dr Kim Chan for electrophysiology.
I had an amazing result the first time. Four months later I am completely cured.
Thank you to the whole team at ‘Central Sydney Cardiology’ with a special thank you to Professor Ian Wilcox and Dr Kim Chan.
It changed my life 🙂
