I am 56 years old,l have seen many doctors in my life and with out a thought DR DARREN IRVINE is the worst. He is immature, childish and it's his way or the high way. I layed in bed for many a day, l was getting sicker by the week, l ended up in the hospital (a couple of times).Dr IRVINE didn't care, he just kept on reducing my meds.l tried to find another doctor but to my surprise things were wrote in my file, so no doctor will take me on.What a terrible time l have had in the last 2 years! I wish l had never meant DR DARREN IRVINE. How can a doctor keep on reducing your meds when you are not handling it and you are getting sicker and sicker. He didn't even look in to it, to see if he was doing the right thing, as l said it was his way or the high way! So to sum it up, l layed in bed sick, ended up in hospital, have no doctor - what a terrible experience it was! So if you are looking for a nice, understanding doctor, don't go and see DR DARREN IRVINE because he isn't. Stay clear! The ladies behind the counter were nice and understanding.l was told by one to complain about the way l was being treated but who will listen to me!

Booked an appt weeks in advance... to sit in the waiting room well past my appointment time. Ended up having to walk out because apparently patients have nothing else to do with their days and have no other plans/appointments other than the doctors. I understand extenuating factors. However, this is far too common at this practice, and then they charge you after failing to provide reasonable services. If I was late, I wouldn't be seen by the doctor and have to rebook, however they are find to be 20, 30, 40 60 minutes late and as a patient you just have to suck it up. It's really not good enough service at all. Need a bell in their appointments to stop going over time with like their very first patient. How are you 20- 30 mins behind at such early appointment times. 😒

I have been going to this doctors centre for near on 30 years never had a problem although I normally only go for scrips, until I had lower back damage and had operation in Melbourne, the young doctor was amazing through the months while waiting for surgery. I have since had a fall and damaged my shoulder, physio didn’t really do anything and I have been seeing Dr Irvine who has been good but last time I went to get scrips, Dr Das accused me of abusing pain meds, I take no more than 2 tablets x2 days a week prescribed by one of their doctors, I’m 70 years old and have never abused tablets or never taken any other drugs in my life, she made me feel terrible. The first time I seen her for a blocked ear she dropped the instruments all over the surgery floor and picked them up to use again until I said no, you need to use clean ones then she asked me to sit on the bed to which she climbed up beside me and complain that she couldn’t see in my ear because I was to tall. I would not ever see her again or recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely upset with the fact I got sent a text message about my results to do with my unborn baby’s ultrasound sending myself and my partner into a panic thinking something is wrong when in fact we should have never received this text message let alone without a explanation on what the issue could have been instead on leaving it up to us to have to search and call my midwife who also think it was a terrible thing for them to send me this text message when in fact nothing is wrong with our baby what so ever. Very disappointing a phone call about these results could have simple stop a hours worth of panic attacks

Horrible experience. Waited over an hour for an appointment booked in advance. GP then lied to me that there was no ‘nurse care’ system for infant care in Victoria so I had to pay $200 for immunisations. Apparently not the first time they’ve done that to make some money:(

Had my OB-GYN appointment cancelled with 3 hours notice, when I rang to book again I expressed how stressed and worried I was about my baby to the receptionist, only to be yelled at and told that it was my fault I had not received proper care during my pregnancy (I live in a very remote community with no midwives or OB-GYNs currently in residence). I have never experienced customer service like this. To be reprimanded and told "If anything happens to your baby, that's on you" by a medical receptionist - just wow. I really regret booking here and wish the hospital had never recommended them to me.

EDIT: After attending my appointment, my opinion has changed greatly. The receptionist we saw today was absolutely lovely, so helpful and sweet. The OB-GYN was amazing, very understanding and caring, I felt well taken care of. My husband had lodged a complaint about the treatment I received on the phone, and I was assured this had been passed on to management and they would be in touch. Definitely a pleasant surprise after the initial contact over the phone.

Update - I ended up needing to visit the hospital and I was told I had a terrible bacterial infection in my lungs. I am recovered now, but this could have been prevented if Maz had done her job properly and listened to my concerns.

I don't recommend anyone seeing Maz the nurse practitioner. Came in because I am suffering from a constant chesty cough. Told me it's just hay fever and I need to take a nazal spray for 6-8 weeks. But when I went to the pharmacy to collect this medication they told me to not use it for more than a week!! She wouldn't listen to me when I tried to explain that this won't help my constant cough and that I have and I requested for some stronger medicine to get me through the night, but she refused and told me that in her opinion "cough medicines are useless". I haven't slept for 2 days because of her incompetence.
