Painful Experience with Unprofessional Staff.

I recently visited this facility for a blood test on November 29th, 2024. Unfortunately, the experience was quite negative. The pathologist, Jasmin, was very unprofessional and caused unnecessary pain during the procedure.

Despite my discomfort, Jasmin was dismissive and rude. Additionally, she failed to disinfect the area with a cold wipe before the injection. She did not apologise, but pointed out her 12 years experience. The reception staff, however, were kind and helpful and provided an ice pack to settle my immediate bruising and swelling to the injected area.

I'm disappointed with the overall experience and hope the management team takes steps to address this issue. If you are booked in with this pathologist, request a gentler more professional approach to avoid a painful and unsanitary experience.

Just want to shout out to the amazing Dr Hawthorne. The is literally the BEST doctor I have ever seen. She listens to your concerns and will work with you to get to the bottom of you medical needs. She is such a sweet, kind and caring person who looks at you as a person not just a medical problem. Couldn't recommend her enough

I have been going here to see Dr Nan (Priscilla) over the last 3 sessions and planning to continue going to her!

She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had, she listens to all of my concerns and explains everything to me, does the necessary tests, is really thorough and I never feel rushed when I’m with her!

My previous doctors (from another unrelated clinic) tends to brush over my concerns and try to get me out the door quickly because it’s so busy so they never give me good recommendations however Dr Priscilla at Cecil Hills Medical Centre always takes her time with me and listens to everything I’m concerned about so I’m so grateful I found her!

She specialises in women’s health so that’s why she stood out to me! She’s helped me so much! I really don’t mind paying the $20 fee to see her each time because she’s so worth it!

All the receptionists as well have been so lovely! Very nice, welcoming and always helping me with bookings/ rescheduling!

They charge my 93 yr old mother who’s unable to walk $30 for a medihealth call that lasts 2 minutes ? I inquired and was told the call is not covered by Medicare are they for real? Other doctors different medical centre don’t charge so.. how is it because it’s not covered by Medicare?

I’d give this place a zero if possible.
Worst service. Took my 7month old son for childhood immunisation. Booked well in advance to get the first appointment of the day. Waited for an hour and Watched as other people were served before me. Took up the matter with the office a few times. Receptionist profusely apologised as she knew they were in the wrong whilst the doctor and nurse refused to accept any blame and made it out to be I was in the wrong and that I was blind. Like I didn’t see them call in other patients who arrived well after me and serve them first. Awful business, seems like you have to be buds with the staff in order to be treated fairly. Disgusting behaviour especially by their Dr Fadi Metti. I highly recommend going anywhere but here, not hard to find better doctors/nurses/receptionists than the mob at this place.

As seen from the other reviews, there's a lot lacking in this medical centre. Waiting times are always pretty bad. Also doesn't help that there's a fee for every consultation. However, not all staff are bad apples and I've had good service from some of the receptionists.
Dr Aran especially is the best doctor I've ever had and is the major reason why I still come to this centre occasionally. Always professional and friendly, Dr Aran has never failed to make sure I have felt listened to. Consistent good service from Dr Aran.

This place is absolutely dreadful. The receptionists attempt to do the right thing (at times) and book you in on time but are undermined by the doctors who work on their own schedule. Whether you are a with a young child or elderly patient, they will continuously skip you and prioritise people they know or have a personal relationship with. We booked the first possible appointment of the day and yet saw the dr stroll in late, coffee in hand and see multiple patients that he seemed to have a personal relationship with whilst we waited. We waited for an hour with a baby before we decided to leave. Would not return here. Save yourself the time and energy and go elsewhere.

Great docs with years of knowledge, poor practice policy that puts money first. I go in to get a check up, had to pay for that, got told to do an ultrasound and when results came back had to call to find out what's wrong then had to pay for that again. If I knew I had to pay to get my results then I probably wouldn't have done it. Change your policy cecil hills med! If other practices are not taking any money so should you guys!
