I attended Castlereagh Imaging Cremorne this morning for a CT Coronary Calcium Score at 10:15am and received the results from my doctor later in the afternoon - amazing. I always find the centre efficient and welcoming, and the specialist staff friendly. Try getting that service and turnaround in other countries.....we are lucky to have such a good health service in Australia.

Not taking away from other reviewers experiences but mine was the complete opposite. The reception staff were great both over the phone and in person.

More importantly though, the radiologist who did my MRI was top notch. He explained everything in advance step by step, what we had to do, why we had to do it and what the outcome was that we might expect. I've never felt like I've been in such competent hands and it went a long way knowing that he was trying to get the best outcome for a complex image screen.

Strongly recommend Harbour Radiology Mosman.

You get to book online. Get instant written confirmation. Friendly receptionist and staff.

Total opposite experience to Castlereagh Imaging were you have to call or wait for a return call to make a booking. Only get day before confirmations that do not define the time of appointment. Have to deal with a gang of front office receptionists who intimidate patients like a gang of school girls in the schoolyard. The staff have no accountability at all since management is never there to supervise them.

As well as this, for my scan they said I was liable for the gap approx. $70. But with Harbour Radiology same scan was fully bulk billed

It is obvious from other reviews that others have experienced similar experiences with Castlereagh Imaging Cremorne.

Highly recommend Harbour Radiology Mosman . Just compare the google reviews. Says everything. 4.8 stars vs 2.8 stars.

Unbelievably rude receptionists work here, never encountered such appalling service anywhere while simply trying to make an appointment. Nothing gives anyone grounds to talk to patients in such manner and think they are somehow superior.

Had a very positive experience here, scans were wonderful, the team had great attention to detail, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Alana at the front desk.

Similar to other comments, receptionists often seem to believe they are superior to those seeking sometimes very distressing medical procedures. Management should consider automating the role of receptionists who do not try to enhance the human experience. That being said, the MRI process itself was positive, hence the 2-stars.

They are friendly professional and qualified. Castlereagh Imaging Manager or CEO should be pride of them. They are deserves more an encouragement.

Unfortunately the receptionist, Alana brings this place down.

My partner and I arrived for our morning MRI appointment and the receptionist, Alana was late. She arrived about 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment.  Luckily the radiologist was there to greet us and let us in. During my partners MRI whilst I was waiting I provided my partners details including the drivers licence to Alana the receptionist. I  did this to ensure correct detail were taken including my partners name and address.
During the 15 minute wait I asked Alana roughly when the MRI report would be available only to be abruptly told not to interrupt her while she was typing. Her manner and tone was incredibly hostile and made me feel uncomfortable.
Upon the MRI completion my partner was simply handed eftpos machine with $300 displayed without any words said from the receptionist. My partner asked the receptionist to include his GP on the list of MRI recipients. When asked to provide details he showed the GPs name  on his phone screen after which he was yelled at by Alana the receptionist saying that she cannot work out the name even though he was clearly providing it both verbally and in written form. She managed to find the GP after a few minutes of uncecessary discourteousness.

Upon arriving home my parter received a call by Alana and advised that she failed or forgot provide him with an spine questionnaire form to fill out.  She advised that form will be sent to his email address and needed to be returned asap. After waiting for 3 hours to receive the form my partner called the clinic only to learn that his name/email was incorrectly entered by the receptionist and therefore the email bounced. As an admin person you'd thing she'd have the common sense to call back instead of sitting on this for 3 to 4 hours. You'd think attention to detail would be imperative considering they are dealing dealing with people's health and sending scans and MRIs to doctors?

After receiving the call from Alana and being advised that the name was incorrect there was no apology offered.

In all fairness the radiologist service was satisfactory.
Too bad about the receptionist and her poor customer service and lack of attention to detail.
