Dr Jay & his team went above & beyond - from an emergency, outside hours appointment, the follow up appointments & phone calls checking in - we couldn't ask for better care. Our young cat was diagnosed with a rare condition & it looked as though we may lose her. Dr Jay asked us to give him time to consider other options & within a short time had found a surgeon, a plan for a good outcome & at a price we were able to afford. From tears to smiles, we simply can not thank him & his amazing team enough. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cassowary Coast Vets to any pet parent.

How refreshing to come across an independent, welcoming and friendly run veterinary practice. From the moment we arrived with Willow our dog we felt valued and listened to. This practice is like vets used to be with a calm atmosphere and Mary the receptionist and veterinary nurse is just lovely. We were seeking a second opinion from another vet's previous diagnosis. Dr Jay was extremely thorough and spent a great deal of time going through the results of Willow's previous blood tests results to get to the bottom of what the problem was. We left Willow for more tests to be carried out and upon our return Dr Jay explained the results of those in detail. We highly recommend this practice Dr Jay for his professionalism and knowledge and the nurses for their wonderful care. The fees charged were very reasonable a lot less than we have paid at the corporate run veterinary clinics. Also, you get continuity as Dr Jay is the only vet whereas you very often see a different vet each time at the bigger practices.

During our recent visits including emergency visits at 10 pm and 1 am in the morning dr Jay went above and beyond even contacting us an hour after one night we left an emergency call out because he had thought of something and had researched it and and wanted us to know our next course of action during an emotionally rough time. Dr Jays level of care, kindness and professionalism is by far the best i have ever witnessed in town. Both me and my wife can not thank him enough. Highly recommend Dr Jay and his wonderful staff for anyone looking for a place to get the best care for their animals.
