If I could leave less than one star I would. The doctor was incredibly slow and unprofessional. Instead of checking on my symptoms and asking questions he takes his slow time to complete a medical certificate. I required a third party to fill out a simple one page form for my university to exempt me from missing my exam due to illness and they were so unprofessional and unable to understand any of what I had to explain three times. The receptionist was disgusting and rude and unprofessional. Asking me for $100 just to email my form to them to get it filled out for my university. $100! To fill out a form Stupid and disgusting. Not only was this doctor slow and incapable compared to any other doctor I’ve seen but this whole process is a scam of your time. I’ve had this form filled out many times by other doctors in the past and I’ve never been charged. LET ALONE $100?! I came here hoping for a decent after hours service as I was so busy and weak to go all day. This is so pathetic.

Horrible and condescending GP. Came for advice regarding flu symptoms (high grade fever) and a preexisting medical condition. I had previously been informed to see a GP at the onset of any flu symptoms. Unfortunately my regular GP was unavailable so I thought I should try this after hours clinic.

The GP’s manner was brusque (asking questions out of nowhere in a really rude manner), treating me like I was a nuisance rather than a patient in need of assistance. To top it off the advice was woefully inadequate and outdated. Fortunately, I got in touch with my regular GP the next day and was actually treated like a person (not a pest), given the appropriate advice and a prescription.

Never again. No wonder this place is so quiet.

I had an appointment at this clinic, but my experience was extremely disappointing.

About 30minutes into my appointment, the doctor was gone without giving me any proper attention or treatment. The receptionist, who had a high-handed attitude, merely handed me a receipt, despite the fact that I hadn’t been properly seen by the doctor.

The receptionist spent the entire time watching videos on their iPhone and had the nerve to mock my English, even though their own English was quite poor. Their behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, to the point that they shouldn’t be in this job at all.

The doctor provided a very cursory diagnosis, and as a result, my symptoms continued to worsen. In frustration, I turned to ChatGPT for advice. Following the suggestions from ChatGPT, my symptoms started to improve.

Given the poor service and attitude at this clinic, I feel it’s a waste of $90. I had a much better experience using the free service from ChatGPT, which was more reliable and less stressful.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the hand therapist, Jen, at the Outpatient department. She is amazing! It's been over a month since we've been seeing her every week for my partner's hand after his motorbike accident. She is very caring and patient and provided my partner with above and beyond service. To be honest, she is the only one who exceeded all of the Canterbury Hospital's expectations!

You are a Hero ?‍♀️

Used to use this doctor often for me and my kids now not accepting medicare any longer.$90 each to see doctor. Unaustralian disgusting and sad will never come here again. Sad to see a helpful service be wasted. Best part is they used to be busy all the time now not one person going in and out a sure fire way that they will go out of business and it may get taken over by someone that cares. Will complain about this to canterbury hospital as it is a public hospital.

What a pathetic clinic. The doctor on duty came across as incompetent. Did not ask any questions and spent 3 minutes and 56 seconds in consultation and they charged me $90.00 just got a script to re-filled. Could not even process the rebate. In interest in your health stay away from this Medical Clinic. Wish I could give it negative stars an report them.

Rude receptionist and pushy doctor. Doctor made odd, prejudiced remarks about communities.

Came in as a walk in and was greeted with a friendly receptionist. Waiting area was nicely spaced out and facing a TV with Hamish & Andy which helped pass time. Once in, Dr Daisy was very efficient and accomodating of me, then provided aftercare instructions. Overall very good experience and would highly recommend.
