My last visit to this clinic was almost the last doctor appointment I ever made. I attended after a suicide attempt and was looking for assistance with managing the new medication I was put on. Instead I was belittled and made to feel like it was my fault the hospital never sent the discharge summary. I was sent home in a suicidal crisis made worse by this clinic.

In the several years I attended this clinic prior to this incident, I have not ONCE been seen on time with every clinic running at least 30 minutes behind. How you can justify charging for the experience of attending this clinic is beyond me. You are simply trying to make money and it shows. The only redeeming factor this clinic used to have was that you used to bulk bill, but now this clinic isn't even worth getting a medical certificate from.

I lodged a complaint feedback online via their website and it was obviously ignored. Do NOT attend this clinic if you want to be cared for with any level of respect. The website now no longer lists any way to give feedback and directs people to lodge a complaint with the Health Ombudsman. Shows how willing this clinic is to accept feedback. Expect another OHO complaint. Anyone working at this clinic should find another field to work in, as it is only a matter of time until your clinic's ineptitude and lack of care costs someone their life. You should be ashamed.

If you have mental health problems DO NOT make an appointment with Dr Jayawardena! She is rude, unapproachable and clearly does not believe in mental health issues. I took my 22 year old niece who suffers from multiple mental health issues, she avoided talking to my niece and would direct questions and answers at me, anytime my niece said something about her extreme panic attacks she would roll her eyes or shake her head. We changed to another female doctor there who is so lovely and helpful!

Infuriating call waiting system. Fifth call on hold, 4 times cut off while on hold. Half an hour on hold. Either change the on hold message/answer the on hold calls/limit the calls on hold and make alternate arrangements. Side note: reception staff are actually very helpful once you get through.

Terrible. I went in with chronic back pain I hadn't slept for days. I had necrotizing fasciitis In my lower left back i had multiple surgeries, where I had muscle removed I have continuous problems with pinching a nerve in my lower back I can barely walk and the doctor wouldn't give me anything to help with the pain now I have to go to hospital for something the GP could have helped with until the new year.
Don't waste your money and time.

Booked a Doctor, whom states there was a disagreement on the last visit, a year ago apparently, and un be known to me my appt was fobbed off like trash. I felt so belittled and when we ask for another doctor was told not until a week further. My question is from a person who suffers from major depression "what if it was an emergency" pfft.
I felt discriminated, second class and worst of all let down.

Showed up 30 mins before my appt in case but still all delayed I had to cancel my other appt after unfortunately. They could have been flexible and swapped with someone's late just get me a prescription quickly but I got called 45 mins later than my actual appt time and wasted my time 1hour today very angry but doctor gave me a dirty look because I looked worried about time.
Didn't have to book in to see with GP prior to nurse appt but nobody told me about it. Better to book in phone consultation for prescription next time and go straight to nurse appt.

Cannon hill family clinic is clean and airy
Dr kanchi is the best doctor I've ever had. She's calm and kind and very patient. She's very knowledgeable and is straight forward with her diagnoses and referrals
I recommend her to anyone I know who lives in the area

Thankyou for the opportunity to review my visit. This was my first visit to this clinic and unfirtunately it was one of the worst visits i have had to a doctor. The doctor in question never introduced herself had a very aggressive tone was insulting refused to listen to my request
I was fee,ing very vunerable and upset so i left and i will not return or recommed this practice
