I had an issue with my eye this morning and need to urgently see a doctor - this centre had an appointment available within 30 minutes so I went with them.
The Centre itself looks a bit old and needs to be refreshed.
I got seen by Dr Kyaw Min Oo - he was great. So attentive and caring and efficient and helped me out a lot - everything you can look for a doctor - he was superb. So if you are looking for a GP and not sure who to visit - see him - you will be pleased.
So 5 stars are, really, for him.

don’t normally write reviews, but the utter rudeness I experienced with Dr. Azadeh Amini Najafabadi at Candlewood Medical Centre has forced my hand. We were seen 40 to 45 minutes late, which sadly has become common practice with many GPs in Perth. However, what truly stood out was Dr. Amini Najafabadi’s blatant lack of respect and professionalism.

During the appointment, she continuously reminded me that she was running behind schedule and had other patients waiting. Instead of addressing my medical concerns, I was rushed through the consultation and told that she wouldn’t be answering any more questions because she had other patients to see. The sense of entitlement she displayed was baffling—as though she was doing me a favor, despite the fact that I was a paying customer, not receiving a free service.

The sheer disrespect from Dr. Amini Najafabadi was astonishing. It was her responsibility to manage her time better, yet I was made to feel like an inconvenience because of her poor time management. Instead of showing any empathy or patience, I was rushed out the door with my concerns brushed aside.

I’ve never felt the need to write a review before, but this experience left me so frustrated that I had to share it. If you’re looking for a GP who genuinely cares and listens, I would not recommend Dr. Azadeh Amini Najafabadi.

I had a great experience with Candlewood Medical Centre today. I called first thing this morning to get my 2yr old daughter in and the only appointment they had was 6:40 tonight. The receptionist said she’d book that one appointment for me and add me to the cancel list to get in earlier for my little one. About 15 mins later she called me back with a cancellation for 10:45am. This was very considerate of her to do for me knowing I have two young children. I came to my appointment and waited no longer than 10mins. We sore a brilliant and thorough Dr (Nelly) and she was so kind and excellent with my daughter. I told her it’s nice to find a great Dr who’s good with kids. She also went above and beyond making a booking for myself to come back at 12pm as I’ve been unwell for 2.5 weeks. Again she was thorough and kind during my appointment and I thank her very much. Her prompting me to get checked out I’m sure will lead to me finally feeling better. Thank you Candlewood!

Can only share my experience of this Practice. The admin staff on the desk have always been helpful, respectful, efficient and kind. I Travel quite a few miles from where I live to see Dr. David, best GP I have ever had and I have seen very good ones in my time. So caring, thorough and efficient. Always goes above and beyond. A true healer.

Please update your hours there are various versions depending on where you look. I tried phoning the surgery at 6.20pm (advertised opening times vary from 8am - 10pm or 8 am - 7 pm depending on where you look) but went straight to a recorded message. Not really good enough!

Great team at Candlewood, highly recommend.
All of the ladies at reception are wonderful and so helpful. The doctors are great and thorough with follow ups.
