CAHMA is a super friendly, helpful and non-judgemental space. They have naloxone, meals, tea and a lot of resources. If you're looking for a safe space for support, give them a go!

Wonderful support, there is always someone within the service willing to take the time to listen to my issues, concerns and happiness. I feel extremely grateful to have a service such as Cahma that advocates on behalf of active n sober members of our community. I love the atmosphere of the office and always feel welcome. The bbqs are great.

Amazing people-centred service for persons who choose to use drugs, the people that love them and the vulnerable in general. Always going above and beyond with clients to ensure a fair shake.
The Connection program works to have first nations people represented equally in this regard also.
Beyond that, their political advocacy has been pushing the goal posts closer to a future where discrimination and incarceration is no longer the default for the people who have been de-humanized by this "war on drugs".

Easily the most helpful service I've used/talked to in Canberra for substance use. It is worth visiting/calling if you need advice for any aspect of the matter (including Alcohol & Tobacco).
