Good, caring doctors and medical assistants at the Camden Health Centre. (Dr. Jonathan Lee is our doctor/GP there.)
Helpful receptionists/assistants at the front desk.
A pleasant experience whenever we visit for our appointment there.
On the negative side, there is a wheelchair lift available but is always out of order.

Dr Kapoor has been our family doctor for 20 years, his a great doctor. The receptionist have no compassion or understanding, and completely rude a majority of the time. A new policy of charging an existing patient $110 for a consultation is ridiculous, my son didn’t have $110 so was not able to see his doctor despite Dr Kapoor being his main GP.

Not having to see your doctor in 2 years with cost you money at this practice.

I am so grateful to everyone there. I've had day surgery twice there, and everyone absolutely fantastic Suzie getting me all set up ready for my op especially , made me feel so welcomed and calmed. The anathesia nurses absolutely wonderful all the staff and nurses,just unbelievable. Thankyou so much for everything. Highly Recommend.

This was our first time seeing Dr Soe. It was purely by chance as walk-in for my 8 year old son, on a day the clinic was fully booked. We were greeted by a warm & very personable Doctor. Dr Soe was so lovely, down to earth & professional. He diagnosed my son’s ailment quickly, putting us both us ease, and not once did we feel rushed or treated like a number. Even my 8 year old son walked out of the clinic saying “wow mum, he was the nicest doctor ever”, and I must say that I totally agree with him 🙂

Yesterday I tried to get into see any doctor at Camden Heathcare centre but the soonest available was a telehealth with Dr Lee. After he was very short and blunt on the phone, he told me to take some antihistamines. My mother and I knew it was more serious so we called again, begging for an appointment so he could properly asses me. The receptionist eventually said yes and we went in immediately. There was not a single other person waiting in the waiting room with us. We then saw Dr Lee with a serious cough, pain and feelings of being lightheaded. His bedside manner was horrific. He told me I had hayfever after doing almost no testing. After I begged him and told him I’ve never experienced hay fever or asthma in my life and I know it’s more serious, he eventually gave me some medication. I left crying, knowing he had not taken me seriously. Today I’ve been hospitalised with pneumonia. The nurse at the hospital said they instantly knew I needed a chest x-ray from my breathing. I understand he could’ve been having a bad day but I hope this can be a sign to be more patient and listen to your patients.

Everytime I call this practice the receptionists are rude and have no customer service skills. My mother was there waiting in the room for an appointment for over an hour before she was told she had to pay a fee, rather than telling her when she came in. There is a high turnover of doctors, which is hard when you find a good one they are gone by your next check up. The Doctors have been great but I am always disappointed at the customer service by the staff.

As always Dr Soe is the best. He has been my GP for good few years now. Very supportive and a very understanding doctor. Couldn't ask for any better GP.
