I presented to the Caboolture emergency department. The staff were AMAZING. I was experiencing a very vulnerable and heartbreaking event. They were so kind and caring and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible. They kept me overnight and I had surgery the next day. I was home within 24 hours. Very informative, very caring and overall I am so happy and pleased with the experience. Having staff that genuinely care about you and your situation is something that any patient is looking for and Caboolture hospital definitely has these staff.

I had 2 trips to the Emergency dept. I was taken straight in (I was very unwell) and every care was given with compassion and care. All staff from medical to ancillary services were friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience as best they could. As an ex nurse, I have high expectations and all staff were Amazing! Thank you for helping me when I needed it.

My Wife Maureen E Drummond went in by ambulance having broken some ribs in her back. ED were terrific. Fast and efficient and caring. She went to Ward 2A for ongoing assessment and treatment. From start to finish the Ward Nursing Staff were quite BRILLIANT! Caring, Professional and well organized. The Medical Team and supporting Professional Dr's, Physios and Occupational Staff were Top Drawer. These Dedicated human beings make Caboolture Hospital WORLD Class. Having been all over this World and been to Hospitals in London, France, Germany and Italy I would vouch for Caboolture Hospital as my Pick! Well done! Mr George Drummond

Firstly, the team of midwives you have in the outpatient's clinic is incredible - all so kind, helpful & brilliant at their jobs.

Secondly, your team of Diabetes educators in the outpatient clinic is phenomenal - in particular, Kelly. She has been with me from my very first appointment after being told I had GDM. She was an incredible support person, always encouraging & understanding. She gave me tips & tricks to help me get the best out of my readings & when she realised, I was hopeless - she then suggested I use the CGM, which was awesome. Thank you, Kelly for making a difficult part of my life, easier.

Thirdly, the team of midwives, doctors & nurses in your ANDAS clinic & Maternity ward are actual, pure angels. I couldn't name all the people who cared for my baby & I but every single one of them were amazing. My favourite midwife, Eilis, a casual working at Caboolture was simply put - perfection. From medication, to taking obvs, educating me, helping with breastfeeding, supporting me, making me laugh & just checking in on me, she did it & with a smile on her face.
Also big thanks to Dr Kate, who made the call to deliver my baby early - thank you. You were one of two doctors who I felt actually cared about the situation NOT about making me wait until 39 weeks. Your voice & decisions on the 8th of April, saved my baby's life, I truly believe that. Thank you.

Fourth, thank you Dr Lindsey Cochran for safely delivering my baby via c-section. I only wish that when you visited me that morning, you would've looked into what was happening more, instead of being so adamant about being booked out until the 24th & my baby waiting until 39 weeks. My baby wouldn't have survived until then.

Lastly, thank you to the four homecare midwives that came out to see us & check on us on the 14th & 16th of April. So thorough in checking over our baby & giving me lots of tips to help with bubs weight gain. Super informative, supportive & caring.

I can't thank the team at Caboolture enough for caring for us.

I had my son here in July 2024 and had the WORST experience to the point I won’t have my next baby here.
After being in labour for 33 hours, I ended up having to have an emergency c section. I felt them cutting me and yelled at them to stop! I was then told I had to be put under.
I told the surgeon doing the c section multiple times that I don’t do well with going under and no one listened to me. It took hours for me to wake up and meet my son. I had multiple issues from being put under and anytime I said anything, no one wanted to help.
I was in there for 4 nights and the doctor wanted me to stay another night but then I had a midwife come in and tell me she was going to give my room away and I would have to go into a shared room even tho I was struggling and in EXTREME pain! I ended up discharging myself cause my experience was horrible.
The midwives on duty were mostly awful. I had an older one treat me so badly cause my son was struggling to latch. As a midwife you should be helping NOT making us vulnerable
New mothers feel like shit and having a go at them.
Disappointed at how my birth went is an understatement. Do better!!!!

Went to the children's emergency Tuesday night for my 8 year old son as he was in absolute agony! the doctor was absolutely amazing explained everything in detail and made sure I understood and had any questions, the nurses were wonderful always checking in asking if I needed tea or coffee and offered him snacks. Got an ultrasound done quickly to find swollen lymph nodes in his stomach.
Then Wednesday night I went back there as he was in agony again the doctor was absolutely horrible my son was very loud I admit but he was in pain and the doctor told him to stop crying and stop moving and then walked away the nurses gave him medication for the pain and he fell asleep during the time the medication was kicking in he was screaming someone help me please help me the nurses could not of cared less they didnt come in to check on him try and explain everything will be okay nothing. Then when he fell asleep the nurse told me they didn't go in because he is exaggerating and being over the top I knew this was completely untrue as I know my son more then the nurse and he would not be like that for nothing! Then the doctor came in explained a few things and kept trying walk away I would ask a question he would answer and try and walk away. When he was crying for someone to help him j was very distressed and in tears and no one cared. I am not a nurse or doctor but if I was and heard a child screaming in that much pain I would do my best to comfort that child.
I did have a good experience the first night the staff were amazing but the second night the staff were horrible. I guess it all depends on who is on at that time
