I was unsure what to do, or who to contact about my Janome MC4800QC as you never know who you can trust these days, but I emailed C and G sewing machines in the first instance and explained it needed servicing and a couple of niggles sorting out, the needle threader wasn't aligning with the needle bar and I wanted the Auto tension checking, i was pleased to get a speedy reply to my email, and a very reasonable quote, so I booked it in.
I can highly recommend C and G sewing machines, everything was sorted out, the machine was serviced and all problems fixed, it is now sewing lovely! I could have collected it the next day!
Don't live with the niggles - just contact C and G Sewing machines!
I did give him a call a few days later because through my own error - and I am good at creating my own problems, I thought I had broken it, but he was very good and we talked through the problem and he explained what I needed to do - it was rectified over the phone. I thought I had the feeddogs stuck down even though the switch was in the up position - I just needed to turn the wheel a full turn to bring them up. Also I need to ensure everything is threaded correctly for good tension and ensure that the needle is threaded with the presser foot up - and if you don't know, 0 tension means zero tension = get a loopy mess! Ensure the tension dial is clicked properly onto Auto.
I think I've turned a learning curve and all should be good going forward...
He's very good at his job and I wouldn't hesitate to go back..

Fantastic little place. They serviced my Mum's old Jones sewing machine and had it back up and running in no time at all.
Polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
Highly recommended.
Beware of parking outside the shop though, as unfortunately the traffic wardens are very efficient ?

They serviced my machine last year and did a fantastic job, much quicker than I expected too.
Today I couldn't get zigzag stitch to play nicely and in desperation rang for advice. Diagnosis was given and instructions on what to do and it's now working perfectly again. Very pleased.
