it took 20 minutes from carpark spot to exit. there are only 2 exists, and one of them was closed today. most of the people uses 2 hours free parking, why dont u just open the both exit, so people can get out!!!

Yesterday, I was charged $80 just to get my car out of the car park. Yes, $80. Even though there’s a sign at the entrance, this feels like a total rip-off. It’s one thing to enforce rules, but charging people that much just to leave is beyond reasonable.

What made it worse? I wasn’t the only one. There were at least 4 other cars locked in too, clearly, this is happening often. Feels like a dodgy money-making scheme rather than a fair parking system.

If you’re thinking of parking here, be very careful, because if you’re even slightly late or unaware of their tricky setup, you could be hit with a massive fee too and that’s $80 per vehicle!!!

Very disappointed and won’t be parking here again.

Be careful parking here — hidden hazards and poor signage.
I parked at Burwood Plaza car park (Level 2) last night and ended up with a deep scratch on my rear window glass caused by a low, built-up concrete wall with no warning signs, hazard paint, or visibility. The lighting was terrible, and the concrete obstacle wasn’t marked at all, which is extremely unsafe when reversing into tight spaces.

I’ve parked roof level many times before and this kind of covered spot was without any notice. After the incident, I looked online and found other people have had similar problems in this car park.

To management: please take seriously to review the design and safety of this space — it’s full of hidden traps and poor visibility. If you value your car, avoid this car park or be extremely careful.

This carpark is just trying to rip you off. I had no idea that I'd have to pay an $80 release fee after 10 pm. The large sign at the entrance was misleading - I thought it meant that entry closed at 10 pm, but you could still exit at any time. But that's not the case! Not only did I have to pay $80, but I also had to wait over 30 minutes for the attendant to arrive and open the gate so I could retrieve my car. It's totally outrageous!

I have been a customer at burwood plaza for most of my life since I was 12 years old
After 23 years I have been so disappointed. I went into the car park jam-packed at 11:10am and there was some commotion with a car parked in front near the boom gate. I drove past a full parking lot to park some where I don't normally park on the roof. After one and half hours I went back to exit the shopping centre and couldn't find my parking ticket. I pressed the intercom and the guy said $40 for a lost ticket. I spent fifteen minutes pressing the intercom 10 times. One day may you be asked for $40.for the privilege of parking at your usual shopping centre. I searched my console,.my jacket, emptied my bag and my fresh buns onto my car floor. After ten minutes of two men suggesting I pay $40 for parking for 1 hour 45minutes I got out and searched my boot and my back seat. After all the flying rainbows and pigs
I pressed the intercom again and explained my situation. I said I have no credit card. They said you need to find a way to pay
I said there are cars parked behind me you want me to reverse backwards.
Sorry burwood plaza. Get with the times. Go ticket less. Or show some compassion. Money grabbing melarky
.shame on management
Must be run by very poor stingy owners

This place has that nostalgic, slightly run-down charm that you don’t find much anymore. It’s got everything you need—Asian grocers, cheap eats, random discount stores—and somehow it all just works. It’s not fancy, but there’s something special about it. Sad to hear it’s getting a full reno soon. I’ll miss the old school vibes.

A good no frills shopping centre in burwood that's less busy than burwood westfield. Had good food options and a staple woolies and daiso. The fruit shop has great prices too and the plaza is right next to burwood chinatown so you can easily grab lunch and then pop next door to grab groceries and a coffee on the way out. There was a lamb rib rou jia mo shop that drew huge crowds at lunch time and it must be a local hidden gem. Will check out next time.
