Just called into this chemist to collect some ear drops as my ears were blocked and I am decongested. While there is asked for a covid test. No questions were asked whether i was ill or what symptoms I had. I had not even walked out the store when they started to spray Glen 20 where I was standing. Somone them said that they would take 20 tests now. I have worked in chemists and I am also a nurse. I would never treat anyone in this way. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I was literally made to feel like a leper with a serious disease. As for the test it is negative. Why sell a product and ask people to test when you are treated like a second class citizen. I just found this very rude and they could have waited until I had at least walked out the store. Also how did they know the test was for me as I only had blocked ears. I could have been buying the test for someone else. !!!!

I was refused a chemist-dispensed medication to treat my son’s conjunctivitis unless I physically brought him in—despite him being unwell at home with the flu. The GP had advised the exact medication to request, which did not require a prescription. Thankfully, Howard Chemist was helpful, understanding, and had no issue providing the medication appropriately.

I have been using this Pharmacy for 12 years on a monthly basis, and not once have I had anything but Excellent service. The girls are always hard working and yet Happy, Friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
