I stayed overnight (prearranged) with the patient as support. An elderly lady had not been admitted to any hospital since she had her babies at Burnside Hospital some 60 years ago. Feeling quite nervous, she was relieved by the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Their warm and friendly demeanour helped her feel at ease. The food provided was not only appealing but also fresh and nutritious. While no one wants to go to a hospital, Burnside has once again proven to be her trusted place for care. Thank you.

Had my breast reduction with Dr Lam at Burnside hospital, I stayed 3 nights. I cannot speak highly enough of the nursing staff, catering, cleaning and volunteer team members there. Everyone I encountered was kind and so helpful - special mention to my nurse Nash who was very caring, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you so much for the care provided and will recommend to anyone needing similar surgery or have the option to choose burnside hospital for surgery. Thanks again 🙂

Really nice experience!

I stayed at Burnside Hospital for five days and four nights, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided a very relaxing environment.

What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible team of midwives. Every midwife we encountered was not only friendly and kind but also provided invaluable support and guidance for both us and our baby.

During our nearly week-long stay, we learned so much about caring for our newborn, and the midwives’ patience and expertise made all the difference. Their encouragement and hands-on advice gave us the confidence we needed as new parents.

We had a really disappointing appointment with Dr. Marlow (womens health) out dated information was given & no answers or solutions were provided to us. After a 6min consultation a $300 bill was given to us. After sending an email to 'fiona' regarding my concerns & disputing this bill, an email reply of 'this is now sent to debt collectors '. There is NO care or compassion or consideration here, its absolutely disgusting, obviously caring more about invoices than humans.

Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and caring. A massive thank you to the nurses, especially Jackie who helped me prepare for my surgery. My anaesthetist Matt was also very calming and caring.

I can not fault the whole experience, admission, Drs- surgery, recovery, nurses, physio, meals and cleaning. The pain management is brilliant.
Would highly recommend this Hospital.
Every step of the way is amazing.
