I have only visited this surgery once so far, but it was a very positive experience. Nice environment, friendly staff on reception to greet me, I could watch the Olympics while I was waiting (I was early). The doctor was on time! And really lovely, she listened to me properly and it was a very reassuring and helpful visit. Very impressed!

I’ve been a patient at Burns Bay Road medical centre for two years and I’m extremely disappointed. I had a great doctor in the beginning and unfortunately, after he left there seems to be no structure to the way I’m charged for my consultations. Doctors I now see say they did a long consultation when I have proof it was within their definition of short. I do not have Medicare and so overcharges pinch. After 5 days (of my repeated calls which were not once returned despite promises of getting back to me) they admit it was a mistake, tell me they cannot return the excess nor will they compensate me at my next appointment. They can keep my money but I am never ever going back.

I have been going to this practice for about 10 years and have seen a numer of the GPs. I now see a Dr Aneale Uppal who is an excellent doctor - very caring and knowledgeable - and I have every confidence in his advice. The practice is very efficient and easy to get to. I would happily recommend this practice and this GP in particular.

I recently visited the medical center and was pleased with the short waiting time and the warm demeanor of the doctor. He administered a COVID-19 test, which I needed for work by Monday, and assured me the results would be ready by Saturday. However, this Saturday morning, I experienced nasal bleeding from the medication the doctor prescribed and needed to speak with him. When I went to the center, around 10:30 A.M, it was closed, despite their hours indicating they should be open on Google Maps and the Hotdoc app.
