I took my visa medicals at the Bupa Centre and had a smooth experience overall. Upon entering, you take the lift to Level 2. The staff first checks your passport, which is mandatory, and then provides clear instructions about the process. They also ask for your preferred doctor’s gender for the physical examination, as it involves undressing the lower body. I chose a female doctor.

The process includes three tests:
1. Chest X-ray – This was quick and straightforward, completed in under a minute.
2. Blood Test – They checked my weight, eyesight, and collected blood samples. Despite my fear of needles, the staff was very gentle and made me feel at ease. This was done in about two minutes.
3. Physical Examination – The doctor asked a few questions about drugs, alcohol, etc., and then conducted a quick physical examination. If there are unusual symptoms, they provide a referral letter for a GP follow-up.

While each test itself is quick, the waiting time between tests is longer, making the overall process about 30 minutes. The staff was professional, and the experience was well-organized. I’d recommend it, but be prepared for some waiting time.

Had my medical assessment here. Lady who did my X-ray in cabin 1 was really rude. She was a middle-aged women, brown, tall, I think she introduce herself as Lyn, but not sure. She was hurry to go home. She yells at me saying "YOU WASTED ALL MY INSTRUCTION", "DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO BREATHE", when she couldn't get my x-ray at first attempts. I really wanted to say, NO madam, I don't know how to breathe but didn't. Her rude behaviour makes me more anxious.

The friendly service attitude of all the employees has eliminated many of my nervous emotions!

Because I have no experience in health examination in Australia, I am also afraid that my English is not fluent enough to understand.

As a result, everyone is very clear and easy to understand! Dr. Ting is Malaysian, and she also used a translator to ask me the medical questions I need to answer, which makes me feel much more relaxed!

I was there today (very early Saturday) to take my visa exams and everything went better than expected.
Everyone, without exception, was very kind and attentive.
Thanks to doctors Mary and Reed for their attention and care during my exams, they were super kind and careful. Especially doctor Mary who, even though I am terrified of needles, was so careful during the blood draw that I literally didn't even feel the huge needle in my arm.

First, go to the 2nd floor. The receptionist will check your passport and confirm your appointment. Then, proceed to the seating area and wait until your name is called. Once called, they will ask questions to ensure you are complying with visa regulations, and you will receive a ticket number.

Next, go to a room with another seating area, where a guide will explain the next steps. Following his instructions, you will need to put on a disposable t-shirt. You will be given a locker with a key to store your belongings, including your mobile phone. Wait in the seating area until your ticket number appears on the screen.

First, you will go for an X-ray. Then, proceed to a suite for a blood test and an eye test. Finally, a doctor will examine you. After the examination, change back into your clothes, return the locker key, and head home. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

I went for a medical exam in the morning, it was very efficient, I came at 8.40 and it finished at 10.

I was a bit worried as I forgot to check beforehand if they’ve got female doctors, but you can select your preference on the day.

All the staff were really friendly and accommodating, shoutout to Anita & Evelyn!

If you wear a hijab, make sure that you wear long-sleeve top and long skirt, and your biggest scarf so you can wrap it in the way that cover your elbow to wrist, because you will have to change to a disposable short-sleeve top for the x-ray.

Very quick and efficient test, only take half an hour to do the assessment.
Would recommend everyone who needs the visa test.
The doctors here are very friendly and kind.

I went in to do my visa medical exam last Friday, and had the most kind and safe experience with all the staff there! They all were super professional and personable.

And a big shout out to Evelyn that took my blood test, didn't feel a single thing, she was so steady in her hand it was impressive!
