I was very disappointed when I went to visit Bupa Cairns just before 3pm, yesterday, to find that the store had already closed?
I was disappointed that the opening hours are so small. It said open until 3pm. It was already closed?
We pay extortionate amounts every fortnight to Bupa and their Service leaves a lot to be desired. 😥

Lisa at the bupa location in the Cairns City Shopping Centre was a breath of fresh air! Genuinely wanting to help me understand the claiming process and what I have available in my travel health insurance. Took the time to walk me through the process and answer all my questions about optical and how to seek out a GP referral as a foreigner. Being new to Australia can be challenging, and she really made me feel at ease. Hope she gets recognition for her amazing customer service

Not friendly or welcoming at this store.
One staff displayed harrassing behaviour.
I arrived early, was waiting outside until opening time. The lady came out and stated harrassing comments like what was I doing there, and "you know we can't process any claims instore".
There was no welcome, no good morning, no please come inside, no we will be with you soon. Terrible customer service at this Cairns Central Store.

Disappointing with a wait time to be served of nearly half an hour this afternoon.
Surely Bupa you can do better than this?
Patience is a virtue and I’m sorry for my poor attitude to the lady who served me, like I have better things to do after work than waste my valuable time waiting for customer service.
There is normally 3 people serving when I’ve been in the past, but today I could only see 2 and as a result Bupa you have an unhappy camper! I don’t think this is acceptable given the substantive fortnightly payments I currently pay.

Totally and utterly ripped off.

We pay nearly $500 per month for private insurance including extras with these people. I need contact lenses in my left eye so went to BUPA Optical.

Purchased - TOTAL1 Multifocal contacts 90 day supply.

An absolute disgrace. Trying to contact Bupa by phone/messaging
for 1 week without success. I will have to drive for 2 hours to visit them in Cairns to ask a simple question. Absolutely hopeless they have no idea what service is meant to be.
