I had a great experience at the Bupa shop today. Rahul Salvi, the Assistant Store Leader, was incredibly helpful and professional. I have visited this location twice and it’s just as bad as calling Bupa. They aren’t interested in helping or answering questions, they force people to use the app or call. They are only interested in signing up new customers. I feel sorry for the elderly who try and go for assistance and I have observed the annoyance from staff and rejection. Being on the highest cover Bupa still find a way to not pay back claims, creating loop holes all the time. Every few months it seems things change without informing customers. To pay up to $500 a month for a single person and get minimal in return is a scam. Even making a complaint and speaking to them on the phone all they could do was gift a $50 voucher to buy sunglasses as an apology…yeah NO thanks!

Excellent services were provided during our visits here in BUPA Burwood, both first and second visit.

I would like to highlight the way I was well received at BUPA ( Shopping Westfield) located in Burwood this Saturday, 04/12/25, at 9 am, by two exemplary people, very responsible and polite. Congratulations to the BUPA team and to these two professionals.

My intention was not even to buy the glasses, however, I decided to buy them after receiving a pleasant reception.

Very average response from the male Asian guy who was not ready to listen to what I had to say.
But, later was served by Rahul, a gem of a guy, who listened to my issues and helped to resolve my concern. Very fortunate to be served by him.

I had to make insurance for my grandparents a few weeks ago and the guy who served me, he's very nice, told me that I can just come in with the applications. A week later, some other guy to say that I need some I.D from them. I come back again this week with some I.D but they said I needed to wait. All I needed was to drop it off and be on my way, it's that simple. They gave me an attitude as well.

During my 70 minute wait, I couldn’t help but notice the miniature jade dinosaurs in plastic boxes on the walls as you enter, about three metres from the floor. In the end, Bupa staff were not able to assist - after having waited 70 minutes. But, wow - we sure did enjoy the dinosaurs. Not sure of the link between Bupa and jade dinosaurs (that’s ok though, we’re in strange times). What an unexpected and helpful surprise! Thanks Bupa, and thanks for the opportunity to enjoy the company of your dinosaurs!
