Good dentist.

Had a filling pop out after only a few months, and replaced it free of charge. Con - the dentist - was a very friendly and relaxed bloke too.

My kids was advised to see paediatric dentist due to a few cavities . I was advised that no general dentist would fix the teeth. I went to have second opinion from another dentist. The general dentist fixed my kids teeth as normal procedure and all cover my private insurance. No specialist was referred.

This was the second time my family was referred to specialist .

I am confused on the good reviews for this place. Completely confused. HOW on earth do practices like this get away with this stuff. I've never been so manipulated by a dentist. This was a new place I was trying out as I'd been to previous Bupa Dental clinics. I went for a basic check up and clean (usually free or max $35 under my Bupa health insurance for other Bupa dentals)... But not this place. A HUGE $285 bill (including all rebates!!!) and not ONCE told each thing they do would add to my bill (i.e. "I'm just going to add some gel to your teeth, okay" ... "Erm sure, if that's how you do it here"... BAM +$41 to the bill) The add-ons were ridiculous. I left in a hurry so didn't have a chance to question the price (attached to see the add-ons). I had a two single radiographs which she claimed were essential as apparently the Bupa Dental clinics "don't share files?" THEN gave me a full panoramic radiograph then charged me on top of the single radiographs!? How does the full panoramic not cover the singles (Maybe my lack of dental knowledge here may make me naive)

Note to owner: if someone comes in for the first time, ensure the prices are transparent and the customer knows what they are in for. If there are add-ons, ensure each time you do one, let the customer know they will be charged such a high amount. (This should be a minimum standard)

I'm not sure who the other reviewers are but they seem suspicious based on the very limited number of other reviews they have done. I'm not going to kick off at the front desk as it's not their fault. You, as the owner, need to take responsibility for the transparency of your dental clinic

Shelly is an extremely competent dentist, enabled in Invisalign also. She has been taking care of my teeth since I arrived in Sydney and I can only recommend her 😊 the reception team is also very kind and helpful.

I know customer service can be a hard daily work but please take into consideration that there is no need for rolling eyes and disrespectful faces if we are requesting a document to the reception. I have to say big thank you to Maria who very kindly and diligent provide me with some clinical files I needed urgently. However, I can’t say the same for Diana Ciocau, who is actually the Clinical Manager. She could not stop rolling her eyes when I asked for a duplicate of a medical certificate. Her very disrespectful mood, tone and lack of empathy when I was in pain, makes me wonder how someone with questionably customer service can be a ‘manager’. Hi Diana, I did not say a word that day because I was not feeling the best, but I hope you can save your bad mood for somewhere else and not to take to your workplace. I work with patients too and I have never ever been disrespectful with anyone, more considering they are not 100% well. Be kind, be human and have some empathy, at least doing your job. Also, don’t forget to add the ‘subject’, in the emails, it’s 30 secs that makes a lot of difference.

Now, checking the reviews on Dr. Con, I had the same situation, he hit my tooth which had an infection and then he said ‘ops, shouldn’t had done that, haha’. The week before, I called a day after he did a filling of my tooth and I notice my face was swelling. I made an appointment online and I called him, letting him know i had pain and my face was swelling (because that i had was an infection). He said ‘don’t come today, I can’t do anything for you’, when I was not feeling good. Next day, the inflammation was worse, and I had to go to another dentist who gave me antibiotics. So, if I do not go to the other dentist, the infection could had been very serious and I felt Dr. Con did not care about my health. The dentist who gave me antibiotics, called me 2 days after asking if I was ok. Dr. Con never called to know how I was. At the end, I came back to him who removed the abscess which I appreciated that but I have also a question mark as I felt a lack of professional care.

Went for a clean and instead of the dentist, the hygienist was the one that's doing it. It wasn't gentle, rushed and rather painful and I can't imagine if they're doing this to kids.

By the end of it, she ask if i need an exam too and I really just want to get out of there as soon as possible so I never really see the real dentist. It wasn't a good value for money either even though I'm with BUPA.

Would not going there again and can't recommend it to anyone, especially kids.

DO NOT COME HERE, 😤they charge WITHOUT tell you. My husband just had his teeth cleaned at this clinic, and told DR Adrian Courtenay clearly just wanna do a teeth clean. In the end the doctor did a X ray for him, without inform there will have $125 extra charge on it, we only find it out when we ready to leave. This is really unfair.

This is an amazing dentist. Been here a few times and the level of service is amazing. The dentist I have been seeing does a wonderful job and always gives me a quote before any work is undertaken. They also have a great dental practice for the kids and they make are understanding making sure the kids are comfortable before they get their checkup and clean.
