My husband and I are from Queensland and are currently travelling through Western Australia. We had finally made it to Bunbury on Monday 24th March.

On Tuesday 25th March I was in need of urgent medical assistance and my husband and I arrived at your hospital at approximately 8.30am.

From the moment we arrived, until I left on Thursday 27th March, I was treated with the utmost respect and care from every member of your teams starting with Triage, Reception, Emergency Department, Short Stays, Surgical Ward, Doctors, Nurses, Pathology, CT Scan & Ultrasound departments, wards-men, cleaners and catering staff.

Every team member had a smile on their face and completed each part of my “journey” very efficiently.

There is no way I can say thank you except to ask that you show this review to your team leaders to be distributed to their team members so they know that they make an amazing impact in their patients experience while being taken care of in the hospital.

Thumbs up Bunbury Regional Hospital. You have amazing staff working for you and this reflects in the hospital community throughout.

Many visit over the years of living in Bunbury.

The entrance now has a cultural touch to welcome and acknowledge the Noongar people of this land. Nice, bright and beautiful upon entry. Much more culture is displayed in the hospital.

Shop available at front for you to pick up quick card, snack or gift when visiting friend /family.

The staff although busy were respectful and helpful. My appointment at the hospital went smoothly and referrals relevant to my need. I felt heard and understood. Thank you for the good service received.

Attended DESMOND program at hospital. Great facilitators.

ER space is busy and long waits, but understanding priorities. Always cared for well.

I been pick it up from my GP to ED department Bunbury hospital for my post concussion I wasn’t feeling well ambulance doped me off around 11AM I was waiting for doctor to see me tell 5PM then doctor came and I explained to him my situation and he want to check different think after that I decide to leave the hospital and they haven’t give me even some painkillers I was Suffering tell I Went to my car and took my painkillers. The one I take regularly.
I don’t know department services how they work but I’m really disappointed because the Service you shouldn’t be better than that

I presented to Bunbury hospital late on Friday night with ankle pain, turns out I'd broken it in 3 places. From the moment I wheeled my sorry self in, till the moment I left, I was treated promptly and with so much care and kindness. The Dr's who put my bones back in place stayed back late until 2am, we even had a good laugh about me having worse friday nights. The nurses, the surgeon, everyone I came in contact with were amazing. I live in Perth so I'll be going closer to home for surgery but I couldn't be more thankful to everyone at Bunbury hospital.

my dear girlfriend spent a whopping 8 and a half hours, with documented proof to show that she is in definite need of surgery to fix the issue that she has gone through for the past 2 years. All for 2 doctors/nurses to ask the same questions, and both giving to same result (2 Panadol and Water)…

as the boyfriend, it is in my civil right to show that this hospital does not actually care to investigate or look into these issues with either my girlfriend or even other patients. It’s ridiculous we spent that long in a waiting bay. Only to be ignored or 7 out of the 8 hours of being there

Shoutout to that one nurses that my girlfriend liked, she actually did her job 🛐

I was taken by ambulance last night and made the decision to discharge myself.
I didn’t get the chance to thank the staff for doing the best job anyone could ask for. A massive thank you to all staff and volunteers who keep all patients safe and cared for.. much appreciated 🙏

I have not been happy to visit my family member at your hospital as No one wears a name tag to indicate who they are. It is very confusing trying to locate, talk to or address staff when they are not wearing any form of identification or a name tag. Coloured scrubs helps is if know what the colours mean. It is very disappointing and thoroughly confusing to have to relay a story or a Doctors advice if all you can say is :Tall African, female Indian? Dr and often with an accent I could not understand. Not good enough. SCGH has a policy where ALL staff, regardless of the job, wear Name Tags to identify themselves. Lift your standards Bunbury Hospital.

Good evening, I have spoken to several people along the way but wanted to make sure this was handed over to the people from the front door to the poor lady that had to push me around. All the nurses I dealt with, the (I don't know all the job titles)orderlies (Nicole)I hope you take the time to check which roster was on and that that receive the recognition. I work in service and this clearly was the A panel crew. I only has one issue in my whole stay which did I did not have favourable news but everyone made me feel on top of the world. Younger woman in MRI may of been having a bad day. feel free to contact for any information so that this gets to the right people
