Usually a great team. Nurses were lovely. 'Care' was turned off when I refused a ct scan that would cost an extra $100. I had one a month ago at SCUH for the same pain and it showed nothing. I requested an ultrasound but the doctor said it would cost the same and wouldn't show anything different. The after hours cost was going to end in a few hours but she discharged me. I chose to go private because I thought the doctor might investigate a bit further or do something different, obviously not this doctor.

The team at Buderim Private Emergency are incredible. Mike and Leo treated me for an acute injury and secondary infection. They are caring, professional but most of all provided excellent follow-up care and made themselves available despite a busy schedule. The nursing staff were lovely and highly capable. Five star service and sincerely thank Mike and the team. I cannot recommend enough.

There was no care for me arrived at 8pm and had one nurse that yelled keep your arm straight and could not put in a kafata
Did not see them again until I was told to go to the waiting room I was not offered a drink the whole time I was there not even in the morning I was made to wait in the reception with no cloths and until my husband collected me. They where not busy
I absolutely object having to pay for this so called care
They really make you feel like your in the way

While the nurse, receptionist and one of the Drs I spoke with deserve 10/10, other areas of this department score less than one star. Staff: please don't make assumptions about people. Ethics and kindness are not hard to practice. A quote I read recently needs to be pinned to your walls; it should be posted on the walls of many hospitals: "With so many things coming back in style, I can't wait until morals, respect and intelligence become a trend again"

Don't know why this place has not got more stars. Got straight in Dr Dan was very professional and reassuring as was Nurse Denmark. Front desk could not be more helpful, and no money paid till walking out the door .

I had the worst experience at Buderim Private emergency. I strongly do not recommend this hospital. Unprofessional and negligent doctor that didn't know how to treat a sever burn or understand the level of gravity of my situation. I risked to get a blood infection due to their incompetence. Unskilled nurses that couldn't make proper dressings. I received better care at my local medical centre. I provided my feedback over 2 weeks ago and still didn't hear anything back.

Great emergency department. straight in no waiting. Reception, nurses, doctors and staff are absolutely wonderful. We have been to this emergency department twice and now won’t bother going to SCUH even though it’s 10 mins from our house we will head straight to Buderim Emergency.

Emergency hassled for their fee even while mum was still in the emergency
awaiting a bed . The money is top priority with them . Not nice
Paramedics and myself complain they don’t answer the phone it’s common
Not a good experience when someone is
