My Mother has been with Bromilow for about three years. We have had a wonderful experience with all the carers and administration (Caroline Whiting) who has been always very responsive and proactive in our requests. The carers who have attended have all been delightful, helpful and caring so much so that a number are still in touch with mum who has since moved to aged care. An experience that has made Mum’s ability to stay at home as long as possible positive and has helped make that time a joy for her.

I know Bromilow have had some teething issues after being bought out and communication is not its strong suit, but I have finally got a co-ordinator who seems to genuinely care and listens to my query or complaint with the view to solving the problem. Rostering still has a bit of a communication problem but they are improving as we speak. I think that some clients need to chase up the problem rather than sit back and wait for someone to call back. I solved my issues by contacting the Manager and outlining in detail what I asked for, what I got and what I didn't get. Then asking them to sort if out for me. once I got my new co-ordinator in 2023, things have been pretty good so far.

I have just started having Bromilow for an elderly gentleman friend I have been caring for, for the last 13 years. Everyone who we have had come through out house have been lovely, friendly, understanding and feel like they are part of our family. We had our lawns done by lovely man who went above and beyond for us and the cleaner came in and made us feel very comfortable with having someone cleaning our house. We are very happy with Bromilow and would recommend them to anyone who is requiring assistance around their home.

This company was used by my mother and step father to receive my aged care services. This turned out to be a very bad decision for many reasons. They caused my mother immense stress due to their lack of communication and unkept promises. They barely received any services as there was never any staff available to help. In the last two weeks of my late step fathers life they received no help whatsoever but of course charged the $400+ fee for the month. Then to make matters worse they charged my late step fathers account again for the next month even though they had been told of his passing two weeks earlier!!! The anguish they have caused is irreparable. Absolute waste of the governments money. they should be investigated!!

I was allocated money from My Aged Care to receive a walk in bath & allocated to Bromilow. Interviewed by one woman 1& 1/2 hours approved. Then referred to an Occupational therapist, another long interview with the same questions. Approval given for me to receive the bath then nothing but missed calls. The caller let phone ring for seconds only no message left. I called the missed number back but with no name nobody was able to direct my call. Florida did her best to redirect my call & sent a message to the person responsible for my case. Waited 4 weeks for a call back. Then I called person nominated to be told that she hadn't any knowledge of my previous calls. Then said that" I was discharged from their service" & said she would get the manager to call me? I hung up🥵

Curious to understand how this companies structure works for our elderly? They seemingly structure to take fees greater than 50% from our elderly entitlements, I would love to be proved wrong as this is a national disgrace if that is the case!

Thank you to all the staff of Bromilow for all the support they have given to our mother over the past 8 months, nothing has been a problem they have been so helpful and supportive, through our whole journey. I highly recommend Bromilow if you need support.

I would be very careful of using this organisation if you plan on self managing your HCP. Always check where and what your funds are being used for
