My client was transferred to the BHC from the RBH. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated with kindness and support. Nurses, OTs, Dr, cleaners, and food services were exceptional with a high standard of professionalism. You guys should be so proud of your work.

Wonderful caring staff - nurses, doctors and everyone in between (domestics; assistants etc). Dolphin House (level 1) was more than I expected and I was blown away by the wonderful nurses and the Dr (Raz) - he was receptive, caring and treated the clients with dignity....well done...keep up the great work (I have been in the health industry for 30 years so this was such a lovely refreshing change to see such dedicated staff). Coming towards the end of your life and losing your independence would be a daunting experience so having dedicated and caring people around you during this experience is paramount.

I was in Brighton Health Campus for 5.5 weeks recently and was very impressed with the care andsupport I was given by everyone there. Nursing staff are amazing physio s and OTS all go above and beyond for their clients. Can’t give enough praise to this dedicated band of troupers. Thank you all so much. Especially those hardworking wardues Matt, andGeraldine etc. love to you all. And especially the Nurses on Dolphin House level 2 who work so hard and are so cheerful. I wouldn’t be doing so well at home without your care and assistance. Especially the physio s Nelson Clare and Rachael. Thank you!🙏🏿

I'm sure the clinic is lovely but what an incredible waste to have such a large health facility on expensive land like this right on the coast. The buildings have obvious rust issues as would any building built right on the coast. The maintenance costs would be insane. The state government needs to think about relocating this service and using the funds from the sale of the land to improve the new facility beyond it current capacity and capability.

I think a common caring attitude has disappeared from a facility built on prime real estate.
If a dementia patient (with limited capacity) with a terminal illness is transferred to the emergency department of a hospital, maybe phone the family member (who is EPOA) to advise the situation. It's called consent. We were advised by a nurse at Brighton they couldn't phone the next of kin as the file had gone with the patient. My mother was really distressed being at Brighton. Brighton was described as a 'holding pen'.

Also, when the family member arrives at the ward to speak to the unit manager / team leader, don't say, 'it's not a good time, come back later'.
How long does the patient have to suffer with mouth ulcers before someone pays attention?
The patient will not eat or swallow the tablets in the Qld government time.

Huge parking space. Courteous and helpful medical workers. I pick-up clients here once in a while in line of my work. This place is not for softhearted people. There might be some scene that might be too depressing for people who does not have any clue what is a rehabilitation centre.
