This practice is a gem in the city. The staff, nurses and doctor treat all their clients with with the utmost dignity and respect no matter what your background is. Their social workers helped me find a place to live when I did not have one. When I visit here I fell like I am part of the Burdekin Clinic family.

This clinic is a beacon of decency so rare these days, the staff & Dr's care for the most needy while often enduring all kinds of abuse from the angry & misguided, lost & hurt souls who need help but lash out at any semblance of infrastructure or normal establishment in frustration & despair, its because they need help no matter their trauma or emotional state. They're part of society, despite being forgotten & ignored by 'responsible representatives' of leaders

. Who sweeps up this flotsam & jetsom, & saves the damaged from themselves,who holds back the tide of disasters that could sweep over the disfunctional & deranged,. Yet this lighthouse in the storm continues, still working tirelessly to deliver mental & medicinal treatments for regular patients, including some desperately ill clients.

. The Dr's & clinic staff refuse to allow any needy souls to fall through the cracks in society, no matter the cost to themselves or the clinic. They look for no accolades or awards, just another human saved is reward enough, & their vast knowledge of extensive health problems keeps 'normal' but often terminal patients alive & fairly healthy against the odds.
. They're a shining light of moral & ethical standards in a sector which every health professional should aspire to be like even if only as a policy to copy or take note of.
