My specialist Dr O’Callaghan is always lovely and professional and experience always excellent but today was served by a staff member that was not very friendly. I was asking to book a follow up appointment in six months time and she cut me off with “that will be $130” I said ok we are paying first then. She then asked me to tap for refund and then offered a date in six months time. The date she offered didn’t suit and I asked for one either side of the week offered. She gave a time and she said “ok that’s all”. She did her job but lacked any customer service or care which is letting the specialists down in my opinion.

Went here to see a psychiatrist, both receptionists were professional though I was given incorrect cancellation information over the phone.
On the phone I was told 2 weeks notice to cancel and as the next appointment date was less than 2 weeks I couldn't cancel without paying a cancellation fee...
When I signed in I was told 2 days notice not 2 weeks was needed to cancel....
This was the one and only issue I had, the receptionists and the psychiatrist I saw were professional and helpful, I am not in need of another appointment at this time but I would happily return.

This place is pure evil. Physiatrists there don't care at all about you, your history, even with family support there to give them assurance - they cut you off, they belittle you, they make their own assumptions without reading medical diagnosis - and then, they take your $600 and say they want to see you again in 2 weeks. You dare question anything of this, and why they aren't listening to 2 parties in the room, medical diagnosis sent to them, and a complete list of all background history starting with childhood, they open the door and tell you to leave and go see someone else.

I've never been so hurt, rejected, unheard and money completely wasted in my entire life. I've never been treated so poorly.

Do not go here. Don't read what they write back because it's just the nice receptionist doing so, not the 'experts' taking your money so they can buy expensive handbags.

I would have got a better session, sitting on the couch on MAFS.

There is dangerous malpractice occurring at this point practice that needs to be reported to RANZCP. The practitioners here have a demonstrated pattern of causing and exacerbating harm to their patients. The psychiatrist I supported a close friend to see here was incredibly dissimive of her lived experiences. In the first session the psychiatrist did not listen, asserted his own interpretation and bias and diagnosed a very heavy duty medication with significant negative side effects without confirming what diagnosis he believed his client had. His approach was belittling and disrespectful. He did not treat his client with dignity; he treated her like a child. The psychiatrist did not attempt to address any of the issues his client came in to seek help for, instead making up a fictional narrative of what he believed were the problems in his clients life. This was the worst experience for my friend in dealing with a mental health 'professional'. It ended up being traumatising for her and has increased her anxiety significantly around ever wanting to see a psychiatrist again. I strongly recommend avoiding this practice!

Dr Mangala is wonderful, however while on leave, I needed a script repeat (which he usually does for free) Dr Aciu had the nerve to quote $150 out of pocket for a "consultation". The second option was for me to go to a GP..... Im sorry but Dr Aciu is not an option and honestly im behest at the attitude to attempt to charge someone in this manner.

Great staff. Always willing to help. Medication that I received changed a lot and I feel that I just needed to go somewhere else. But apart from that they ladies and gentlemen at the front desks are lovely
