I live in Goulburn NSW. For several years now I have been visiting the Bowral Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Clinic. I have found Dr Rohde and staff to be committed to the highest professional standards of clinical care for which I am very grateful. It's been very reassuring to my wife and I that my condition has been looked after so well with appropriate and timely clinical interventions and monitoring. I find that the location of the clinic is also convenient to the town centre with good parking and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of the Bowral Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Clinic to others.

What made the experience a positive one was how confident I felt that I was getting the best treatment, thanks to her knowledge and expertise. She uses state-of-the-art equipment, keeps very up to date with the latest research and development and loves sharing her knowledge with her patients. I also had a cosmetic procedure with her recently and I'm overjoyed with the results, it's the best thing I've done.

First impressions matter and this certainly holds up to the 1 star rating I am giving. Firstly, the clinic is in a granny flat behind an old house in a suburban street which instantly doesn’t provide any sort of reassurance or displays of professionalism. I never judge a book by its cover but fast forward to my experience with Dr Rohde and she was one of the coldest, rudest doctors I’ve ever met. She spoke down to me and I found her to be quite sexist and uninformed. She lectured me on a completely irrelevant matter for about 5 minutes and I walked away not gaining any new knowledge or confidence that she had done a thorough check of my skin. My local GP does a much more thorough check and shows so much more compassion and attentiveness. I will happily travel 2 hours to Sydney for my next skin check in the future.

Life saving expertise, Dr Rhode performed a very thorough skin check and identified a suspicious mole which turned out to be very early melanoma if not for Dr Rhode’s knowledge and diligence the outcome may have been very different

I needed to have a mole cut out from the top of my right foot - a very tricky piece of skin to operate on because its so thin.

Dr Rohde took extreme care and took the mole out without any issues and with little scarring, which I was very surprised by!
