Emergency triage was fantastic. Took my husband in and only waited 15 minutes to be seen. Once in, several nurses worked quickly and in a very organised manner to get various tests and samples done. Within another 15 minutes, the duty doctor gave a thorough physical and before the exam was finished, some of the blood results were already back! Very efficient and friendly team, husband was well cared for and checked on regularly.

Five out of five to Bowrals ED, triage like I have never seen before. All hospitals would benefit by following, not only saving Doctors precious time but also patients being seen and treated in a timely manner. Impressive! Good on you Bowral Hospital... let's see this in other Hospitals. Thanks to the Staff.

Big shoutout to the nurses and doctors making me feel safe and sound after a bad experience that happened with a nurse earlier this year. The wait times can depend on how busy, how many beds and staff are available. I was in and out within an hour and a half which is the quickest I've been in here for ages.

Saturday afternoon i attended Bowral Emergency - sent by local doctor, with serious pains and unwell. I was straight in and attended assessed by the nurse at triage. Very helpful, based on my condition, i had to wait in the ED waiting room for some time, but no problem with this as it was busy. after a while i was called in by the doctor, i must say he was great and explained all to me as i was a bit delirious. tests done, tests back and straight on the drip with some good antibiotic meds. I found the staff at all levels efficient and very professional. waiting is far as I'm concerned is normal at any emergency dept. if you are really sick waiting should not be an issue, as the attention to getting it right is more important. as they did with me. Many thanks

What kind of emergency department is this. If you guys can't attend the patient even in 5 hours than that's not a emergency department. Even though people are dying there is no hope they gonna attend the patient. One of the worst experience ever. We can have a panadol in our house we don't have to come to the hospital to have only a panadol.

Jabbed my husband without consent for a blood sugar test. You don't prick people without permission or telling/asking what you want to do. Nurse in ER

ED department is pretty bad. Brought in by ambulance as chronic dehydration and 60/40 BP due to bad gastritis. Extreme vomiting and more. Left waiting for over 1 hr with no IV fluids and no cup of water offered. Nurses have extremely bad attitude, openly talking about not being paid enough - despite some of them clearly being overpaid for doing very little (despite what they think). Each time I called for help they said “yes, we’ll get to you”. I finally asked to be discharged home as at least I could drink water there, so someone finally appeared with an IV bag.

I am not happy to be writing this review as don’t like to punch down but whoever is in charge for this mess needs to be investigated.
