I am very fortunate to have been referred to Zara Howard by my GP (another amazing practitioner), and after only five appointments August to October, there has been a huge improvement in my chronic health condition.

The past almost two years have been a roller coaster health journey for me, and after a complete change to an all-female care team since July, I am doing much better, both physically and emotionally, and Zara is an integral part of my care team.

Boutique Pelvic Health is centrally located in a lovely modern building in Bundall (with parking on site), and Zara’s room is tranquil, welcoming, beautifully set up, and immediately engenders the feeling and confidence of being in a safe environment.

Zara is special. She is warm, caring, intuitive and has wonderful communication skills, keeping advice and information simple and at the same time, comprehensive; and importantly, she has kept touch with other members of my multi-disciplinary care team. Zara sees the whole person, not just a condition, and I have truly benefitted from her empathetic care, and her knowledge and ongoing education and involvement with the Gold Coast women’s health practitioners’ network. Thank you so much Zara!

I look forward to returning for a catch-up appointment in early 2025, and unreservedly recommend Zara and Boutique Pelvic Health.

I highly recommend Zara Howard at Boutique Pelvic Health. I was recommended to see her by my Urogynaecologist and she has been the best pelvic floor physio I have had. She’s the ultimate professional, personable, kind & caring, extremely knowledgeable and works with you to achieve your goals and wants what’s best for you. I have been seeing Zara for my pelvic floor health issues for quite a few months now and I have improved greatly and learnt a great deal too with ways to self manage my pelvic pain due to Endometriosis, including constipation & bladder retention issues. Seeing Zara has given me a lot more confidence in my every day life and self assurance to be able to successfully complete pelvic floor exams, etc. I believe incorporating pelvic floor physio is an integral part of a management plan for Endometriosis and prolapse suffers, etc. I couldn’t speak more highly of Zara.

After years of seeing specialists, I was suffering with a small prolapse, a dry, burning vagina, and constipation. I was referred to Zara by one of the top female surgeons, who thought it was worth seeing Zara before undergoing surgery.

I saw Zara only once. I found her to be so caring and attentive to all my concerns. She developed a plan that was personalised to my needs. I followed her plan and ordered the items she suggested. Within a few days of using the cream she recommended, I was no longer suffering from vaginal burning. I continued to follow the plan and ordered the toilet stool, which provided immediate relief.

I cannot recommend Zara enough for pre and post pregnancy pelvic health. I’m so happy I booked that first appointment at 36 weeks pregnant!
