I have been going to Bourke St Clinic for 10+ years and all staff have been absolute amazing; esp Dr Bentley as my GP. I have iron infusions several times a year and Dr Bentley has always been there, even on weekends. He has been available, even on a Sunday when I was called to see him immediately for other issues. I have seen other Drs as well and I have always received top rate medical attention. All staff are fabulous, caring and professional. Bourke St Clinic is the most reliable, on top of medical research surgery I’ve been to, otherwise I would not still be going here. Highly recommended.

It’s always a little nerve wracking moving to a new city and new doctors but Bourke Street Clinic was very welcoming. Professor Phelps was amazing with the speed in which she understood my problems and I was sorted very quickly and with kindness. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Disappointing Experience at Bourke Street Clinic

I was really looking forward to receiving quality care at Bourke Street Clinic but unfortunately, my experience was subpar.

On my recent visit on 24th June 2024, I spoke with the doctor about a health check and he ordered various blood tests and scans. These were completed by Friday 28th June. I patiently waited for my results by email or a quick telehealth call as discussed during my appointment.

Despite my expectations, as of the 22nd July, the doctor failed to make contact to alleviate my concerns, or provide a proper diagnosis of the results. I had to make numerous phone calls to get my results. On the first occasion, the receptionist emailed the blood tests but I was left feeling even more frustrated and confused, as I was unable to decipher the results. On providing this feedback to the receptionist, I received a follow up email from the doctor with short notes typed on a couple of the test results with no proper explanation or course of action to remediate.

I hope the clinic takes my feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their services. Until then, I would not recommend Bourke Street Clinic to others.
