I've taken great time and consideration into this review, which unfortunately isn't a positive one.

When I first started seeing Dr Scott, he assured me that he understood the complexity of my multiple muskoskeletal conditions. Add on chronic pain and mental health conditions, it's a messy scenario for any allied health practitioner to be dealing with.

We worked towards goals of flexibility, less chronic pain and just being able to cope better with all my conditions. Many of them contributed to associated pain elsewhere etc. Through this period, I felt heard and taken care of.

I had been seeing Dr Scott weekly for a fair few months before we fell pregnant. Under my doctors advice, due to my conditions and mental health status, I was advised to take it relatively easy. Still keep up with my appointments etc, but not do anything with adverse risk.

I recall having continued lower back pain during the pregnancy. I also recall physically writing down on my questionnaire that I was NOT comfortable laying on my stomach, even from 12 weeks onwards. This information was not taken into consideration and Dr Scott continued to ask me to lay on my stomach to do spinal adjustments.
I continued to see Dr Scott during this time until around 20 weeks pregnant. I was still asked to lay on my stomach each time.

When I spoke with my GP about this, she immediately asked me to cease all treatment with Dr Scott as she believed that this was an unsafe practice, especially after voicing that I was uncomfortable with doing so. With bulging disks and pregnancy, she told me it was not worth the risk of continuing treatment.

I felt extremely disappointed that my feelings towards the treatment was not taken into consideration from Dr Scott.
Ultimately I discontinued my period of care at this time, and did not return as a patient.

Meredith however was an absolute gem, and I cannot highlight how much her spark improved my well-being, even just being around her. She genuinely cares about patients and is amazing at her job.

Scott is an excellent practitioner and has been helping me with my back over the years. He has been instrumental in treating and educating me manage my significant issues and I have a better quality of life because of it. He listens to his patients, finds what works for them and works with you, and is a damn nice guy as well. Meredyth is his wonderful assistant, always provides friendly and efficient service. 100% recommend - amazing place and whole team are amazing . My posture and strength is returning under Scott's care . Place has a beautiful, healing vibe to it and can be having a horrible day and come out calmer and more energised . Meredyth at reception is also an amazing human . Cannot recommend highly enough 🙂

I’ve been suffering from excruciating sciatica on and off for 5+ years and since I’ve been seeing Scott, I’ve been pain free for the last year. Dr Scott and staff are super friendly, attentive and welcoming. Dr scott listens attentively and explains all treatment in simple language so you understand. He works with you to develop a treatment plan. It is a very inviting environment where i always walk out feeling uplifted, empowered and a healthy spine. 10/10 would recommend.
