Extremely disappointed with the service at the Booragoon clinic.
I went in for a chest X-ray, and the nurse didn’t even provide the required band for the procedure. I only realised this after I left, and I had to spend extra money taking an Uber back to collect it — all because of their lack of attention to detail. What’s worse, when I returned, the nurse didn’t even apologise — which is the bare minimum courtesy you’d expect in this situation. This is basic professionalism that should be standard at any medical facility. Very poor experience.

Regular patient and understand need for booking ahead nowadays. Phoned and explained the need for an urgent appointment today to obtain a medical certificate for a child's mid year ATAR exam (or they receive zero). Also explained long time existing customers. Response - cant do anything, all booked out, not even a Telehealth. Rang another GP centre who we dont go to and explained the urgency, they squeezed us in, (but as first time patient couldn't do a Telehealth appt which Booragoon would have been able to do). Would have expected much better service - its not like the urgency warranted a hospital visit / critical care but needed something on the day to avoid a zero mark for year 12 results. (Posted here as no email on their web page to email in a complaint)

Just a shout out to Dr. Mike. I had a complicated health issues and was treated with empathy and thorough professionalism. Very relatable and took the time to sort out the issues even though the practice was very busy

I hadn’t had a regular GP for a few years after a previous one moved away. My partner recommended this practice and they have been wonderful. The admin staff are lovely, helpful and very professional. I see Dr Hodgson and could not speak highly enough about her, she is so helpful and caring and genuine.

My experiences with my doctor have been extremely positive. Dr Wilson is very helpful and considerate when handling my complex medical circumstances. Additionally, the front desk staff are polite and respectful. However, I found the nurses to be quite cold

Staff are very caring and my GP Dr. Amanda Hodgson is always very thorough when I have an appointment. Always feel comfortable and can express how I'm feeling and she explains everything to me, so I walk out knowing she cares for her patients. Thank you Marion Thomas

Me & my partner had our ‘visa medicals’ here on the 11th of July 2024. From start to finish the service was fantastic, from calling reception, the doctor, the bloods and off site x-ray everyone was absolutely fantastic. So helpful & welcoming. Really happy with the service and kindness from every staff member. Thank you so much ☺️

My elderly father attends this clinic and they have been fabulous with his complex health care needs- thanks so much Booragoon Medical Centre!
It's disappointing to see some negative reviews for this clinic which refer to long wait times and having to wait in the car when you have contagious-like symptoms. There is good reason for these things people! Be kind & patient. The staff at this clinic are doing their best to look after you!
