First time at this practice today, and the receptionist and doctor are so lovely! I’ve had very bad experiences here in Australia with doctors, so I get nervous to go because I’ve been treated very rudely. I was delighted to see a doctor that cared without even knowing me. I am pleased to take my family here in the future. If you live in the area and want a kind practice to visit, I’d highly recommend!

On the website it said they do bulk billing, so I go in asking for that and they said they don’t do bulk billing. Then I insisted and I said I have a pensioner card(they probably judged my accent and thought I couldn’t have one), so they said oh ye we do. Ok. Then I go in, and not even an hello, I try to make a little conversation given it was the first time at that practice, but nothing. Then the doctor said that to sign a little slip to attest I am physically fit to run 500mt I would have to do a long appointment and that I have to pay more than 100 dollars. I said ye ok thanks bye and I left. I found this place to be unwelcoming, the staff is rude, and I felt it was unprofessional too. Also, I exited saying thanks bye nicely at the reception, and NO ONE answered back. I was just ignored. Never again.

I had a wonderful experience at Bennett’s Road Doctors this morning. I had a first time very severe allergic reaction and in a panic I wanted to check if it was treatable there first as they are closest to my home, or if I needed to go to hospital. They were wonderful took me into a room straight away with Doctor without an appointment, figured the cause, got my a script and then the nurse helped calm me down whilst my husband got medications next door. They were supportive and caring. Thank you so much to the entire team. Kimmy

The practice is clean and staff friendly. I never wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. The doctors are thorough and the nursing staff gentle. Great practice.

Firstly the Doctor prescribed me a cardio-toxic medication when I have a high heart rate and am taking Vyvanse.

Secondly, I just came in on a whim from a car-crash & am allergic to codeine so he prescribed me Norgesic (which wasn't even in stock at the pharmacy so I wasn't able to sleep that night due to excruciating back pain). He also laughed when I mentioned that I was allergic to codeine as if I was some sort of Junkie when I needed urgent medical care post-car accident.

This is borderline medical malpractice & I would recommend people to steer clear of this dodgy clinic.
