Extremely unhelpful. Doesn’t care about the client and keep cancelling the appointment booked at the last minute. No point of calling them. Staffs were rude and only talk not listening. Some staffs were even trying to make fun of accent. No help at all rather be dwell in mental stress then calling them.

Do not care. Made me wait 10 days for an appointment when i desperately needed help. Then totally botched up my appointment telling the psychologist a differebt time for my session to the time they advised. Then the only remedy was to wait another 10 days. Well too late!

My experience was very different to that expressed below. The psychologist I saw (3 times) was excellent and helped me deal with my non-work related issues very successfully. The issue of who I worked for was never raised and had no impact on the service I received. I'm sure that as with many organisations the results can depend on who you see.

There should be more than 5 stars to give to Benestar's EaP program. Anna is an amazing professional Clinician who knows how the mind works and gives thoughtful, helpful advice. She has gone out of her way to provide me with further resources to further develop professionally and strengthen my wellbeing.

I visited a Benestar therapist for five sessions total (eg., approaching the maximum provided by my organization). I found the therapy somewhat useful, yet simultaneously vapid. In sum, my therapist was excellent at providing repetitive, work-related, behavioral advice. Yet, in spite of all my attempts to do so, he wouldn’t engage in any related (albeit relevant topics). Thus, I suggest engaging in this service, contingent on your awareness that it’s likely oriented to your employer’s needs. Best of luck 🙂
