Twice now, GPs at this practice have sent me (I did not ask) for specialist consultation that were not required (specialist stating GP did not need to refer you at this stage) costing me $600 each time.
In addition on my last visit, failing to review blood tests they requested and brushing off a poor kidney reading when I questioned it. Failed to ask any questions about why my kidney function might be down or order a 3 month revision (which should be standard practice). On review by another GP (at a different practice), it was stated I was entering stage 3 kidney disease and should have the blood test repeated. I expect better than this when I’m paying significant $$$ for consults (not bulk billing).

Amazing staff, great doctors that actually listen to you and don’t rush you through like so many do. Nothing is too small or trivial to be discussed, very professional staff including the receptionists. This practice quickly went from our back up doctors to our main doctors and we are very happy about that.

Wouldn't give me test results over the phone. Wanted me to pay for another appointment for the results. Had to wait 4 days for the new appointment which didn't suit me. You have claimed these tests from Medicare, so you are all good....but what about the patient? Not impressed.

We were travelling and needed some medical care along the way. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We saw Dr Martin Carr who attended to our needs very professionally, accessed test results,explained everything and gave us a discharge summary to take with us. Thank you so much,we appreciate your expertise.
