Had to request that Dr Pilla remember to behave professionally. Also had to request her to stop yelling and to leave me alone. Only started behaving when I got my phone out to video her. Needed scripts and no other dr was available. Beware.

I had a very frustrating experience at this clinic. Despite the fact that waiting an hour is often the norm, I was told I needed to wait an additional hour because I was 15 minutes late for my daughter’s 4-month screening. When I finally saw the nurse, she was not only unhelpful but also visibly angry. She refused to take my daughter’s weight or complete the routine screening, which was shocking and unprofessional. This experience has left me with no desire to return. The staff's lack of courtesy and responsibility is unacceptable.

I have been disappointed by the treatment I got from Dr Aparna Pilla. The doctor is evidently not qualified enough. I asked her to interpret my MRI results which she herself referred me to. The answer I received was: 'Can you read?!'. I mean, it's the doctor's job to interpret the results. And I might not be able to understand medical terms. Dr Aparna was really rude and not professional. I tried to ask questions regarding my MRI results, and asked: 'what is Baker's cyst', and the answer I received was: 'oh, it's a cyst, everyone has it'. I am wondering whether she is an actual doctor. I didn't really get the treatment/advise I paid for. And I am deeply frustrated with the quality of doctors this clinic has. Anyone considering to see her, think twice, especially, if you are an international and have to pay for the service out of pocket.

Worst medical centre I have ever visited. My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews before booking my appointment here. My normal doctor was booked out until February next year and I ran out of my script. So I came here as a new patient.

I had an appointment today at 10:40 and I didn’t get seen to until 11:15. I wouldn’t have mind waiting until I didn’t even get an apology for the lateness by the doctor.
My doctor was sally Tossum.
The doctor called my name and literally ran back to her office, I had no idea what room was hers and it was strange. When I finally found her office I sat down and was welcomed by a blank face. No hi how are you or how can I help. She was extremely rude.
During my consultation her computer wasn’t loading so she told me she would send the script through to my phone when it fixed itself. I paid $70 for an appointment that was literally less than five minutes. I was out for most of the day and I kept checking my phone for the script, it was never sent. I tried to call at around 2:00 to leave a voice message but it wouldn’t let me. So now I’m stuck without my anti depressants until Monday and I have no idea what to do. A massive waste of time and money.
The receptionist was also a little unprofessional, she was dressed in literal Lounge clothes. Like joggers and worn out sneakers. While I was waiting for my appointment she left the desk and walked away for a phone call, multiple people walked in and had to wait for a fair while since there was no one minding the desk. Just a really unpleasant experience all round.

Brought my step-daughter here because they were the only practice with appointments available at short notice. The waiting room was streamlined, Dr Mehdi was courteous and knowledgeable, and the treatment was effective.

They are a high-volume clinic, so you may not get as much face-time with the doctor, but highly recommended when a quick appointment with a good GP is needed.

Doctor Raj sent me for an urgent scan and then went on leave for a month without telling anyone; now they won’t let me access the results, even to move doctors!! Without a doubt the most rude and unprofessional receptionist I have ever spoken to, shouts at you and then hangs up! I’ve been with this practice a while and heard the rumours and read the reviews but never experienced it till today!

If I can give 0 stars I would. I thought Dr Pilla was a very lovely doctor but after my experience I had with her today, I will NEVER come here again. I booked an appointment for pathology results. She would not give me all of the results and told me to access them through my health record. I could not access them on the health record as they were locked. I called the hotline to access my results and was told that only the prescriber could access my results. I booked in another doctors appointment the next day and waited over an hour to be seen. I asked Dr Pilla for my results and explained to her my difficulty of trying to access them. She then responded “but I told you, your results are fine. Why do you need them”. I was shocked by how rude she was to me. I went to text my partner that I would be late to meet him, as he had sent multiple text messages. She then asked me why I am using my phone. I have never had this experience before. For pathology results it is the Doctors responsibility to provide the patient with their test results even if they request HARD COPY or EMAIL. I can’t believe the way I was treated today after waiting long wait times and being patient, kind and also expressing difficulty accessing my results that was how I was treated. After reading other reviews now I realise I am not the only one who has been treated in an unprofessional and rude manner. Disappointing.

This practice doesn’t even deserve one star, I have been coming to Belconnen medical centre for probably close to 18 years and seen doctor Pilla for probably close to 10 years, the patient care is definitely lacking after my birth I had next to no support what so ever from the doctor and every single appointment I have been to I have paid for out of pocket which is fine but even being on maternity leave I was never given any discount or fees waved which I don’t understand as their are a lot of patients bulk billed here. The reception staff are less than capable they don’t even know who the doctors have in their rooms when you arrive. Always an hour + wait and they don’t care about patients. Now I have a son I won’t be attending this practice anymore it’s a disgrace and a money grab I needed a script which I misplaced not that it had run out and although I have had this script on and off for 10/15 years and was in the practice and paid for my appointment just last week they wanted me to come in again whilst I have a baby a home and have just resumed work as well. No care factor and no loyalty back to a patient who’s been a returning paying customer for many many years. Save yourself and don’t attend here !!!!!!
