Attended this clinic today for assessment. I had read the previous and was particularly concerned about the reviews of one of the admin team called "Jo", which left me anxious. I have to say, I met Jo today and not only was she welcoming, but she did her very best to make things stress-free for me, even fixing the aircon temperature in the waiting area. She give a very informed and supportive explanation of the services provided and the professional team to myself, support person and some other clients over the phone and in person. I wanted to write this review to assist other clients to not feel as anxious as I was by previous reviews. Sometimes reviews can be more harmful to people, especially when they are medical or health provider when emotions are already high.

Dr Barton is terrific! He was very thorough, compassionate, non-judgemental and made me feel at ease. I have every confidence in his diagnosis and appreciated the collaborative actions he took on my behalf. Can't recommend Dr Josh highly enough.

My first appointment here was meant to be this week, on the day of my appointment I had a medical episode apart from Heart failure I also have AF (artiral fibulation) which happens without notice or reason regularly for me. I rang just after 8am to find the open quite late for a clinic at 9 so I rang back after 9 to cancel my 11am appointment. I unfortunately got a staff member Jo who was so rude and obnoxious towards me berating me for canceling my appointment on the day. I was given no time or avenue to explain why. She then said quite proud of herself that she would be charging me and what felt like dobbing on me to my GP for cancelling. I met with my GP later in the day so he was well aware and with good reason why I canceled. The staff member showed no empathy or even ask Why I was canceling. Now reading other reviews I see this is the norm for this practice to treat clients in this way. I won’t be rebooking but will find a nicer practice to attend. I definitely think I dodged a bullet here. The fee charged was $100. Disgusting behaviour from Jo at this practice.

I saw Joshua Barton on the 07/08/2024 I found Joshua to be very professional, caring and knowledgeable. I thought it was great that Dr. Barton asked us if we wanted him to explain what he could see on the MRI, by involving us in his diagnosis helped us understand my problems. I also found the receptionist to be very helpful during booking a appointment and explaining how they prioritize appointments according to the severity of the symptoms.

Professional and caring. Comprehensive service provided by the Neurologists and Allied Health Professionals. It’s starts on the phone or at reception with friendly, caring and understanding reception team; a great example of “ you never get a second chance to make a first impression.”
This practice offers exceptional patient centred care .

Dr Wong is an amazing Dr very kind, thorough and compassionate. He gets 5 stars. Due to the treatment I received from the admin staff I will never attend to another apt in that office. 2 staff members were overheard b*tching to put it bluntly about me when I questioned why I was only notified a day and a half before my next apt that I needed a new referral to see the Dr. It is almost impossible to get a GP apt in that time and I was sarcastically told I should be onto it when my referrals are due to expire. Being a mum to twins will special needs who both have multiple specialists they see and
having multiple specialists myself I'm sorry I'm not as good as you 2 to remember all their expiry dates. A bit of empathy and a better system to let patients know at their last apt hey by your next apt you will need a new referral like all other specialist do would go along way in your attitudes and patient relations. Also no text message was received to notify me of that apt either. Shame on you 2 adult's.
