I attended this facility on Saturday morning, due to a blackout which resulted in a fall with a bad head wound above my eye.
From walking in, to being discharged I had the best medical care I could have asked for!
I felt safe, I knew I was in the best hands.
From booking in at reception , the nurses care , both doctors that attended to my wound, and the stitches I received. Professional healthcare at its best!

I unfortunately had an awful experience in this place today, and would like to make it known so that others might avoid a similar disappointment and receive better care elsewhere.

I fainted in a cafe near the hub, for no apparent reason, but regained consciousness after a few minutes and subsequently went to the clinic upon recommendation from the waitress.

The receptionist at the hub was abrupt to both myself and my partner upon arrival, and informed us twice that it was going to cost us 550 dollars as we are not Australian, which is fine. She did not seem interested in what had happened to me but did mention how taxpayers unfairly had to pay for foreigners treatment in the past, as if this justified what we had to pay.

Because I was more concerned for my health rather than the reason behind the price, we quickly paid and I was brought into a room and swabbed for covid as I had felt aches before fainting, which came back positive. The nurse announced this to the entire room, which I am still quite upset by. The nurse told me the doctor would come and talk to me soon. After 80 minutes of waiting, seeing nobody, but watching the doctors sit down and take calls and texts on their private phones, I stood up and miraculously a doctor noticed, who then began to put on scrubs and I was informed that they would do more tests. I also found out they had not informed my partner in the waiting room about what was happening, however the receptionist came to clean the chair I had been sitting on and rudely questioned my partner why I had not taken a covid test before going to the clinic, my fainting apparently forgotten by this professional.

When I voiced my unhappiness, they very quickly offered me the option to self-discharge "against medical advice", even though I had received no advice. After signing, I heard the doctor in scrubs say with relief that it saved them doing a job as they quickly binned their scrubs.

As I post this and see the other negative reviews to which no explanation or replies were offered by the clinic, I am not surprised by my experience. Awful attitude, manner and professionalism. Shame on you. Avoid this place. If zero stars was an option, I would certainly award it to this place.

Unfortunately we had to visit the medical centre twice on our holiday to Cowes but how incredibly lucky to have a 24/7 medical service available. All the staff were so kind and caring to our young children. Can’t believe the service was bulk billed. Thank you very much!

Had gout attack. Drop in the medical center at 10.30am and was just waiting waiting forever waitinggg till 1.55pm. More than 3.5 hours wait ( to even get a simple gout medicine prescription or injection). Left without being seen by the doctor or getting any treatment. Still in Extreme pain and Very frustrated. Hopefully a credible doctor elsewhere can provide medical help. However the nurses are wonderful and very kind especially Mary.

I wish to say a big thank you to Bass Coast health Hub doctors, nurses and office staff for helping me when lm having bad health issues with my cancer.
I also would like to say A BIG THANK YOU TO THE front desk staff, social service staff, counsellors , occupational therapists and physio people. I have found them to be caring considerate and so respectful of my illness and my general well being.
Well done all and again thank you. .

My name is Christal, I’ve never been treated so horrible in all my life. The young Indian Dr at the centre told me I was faking. He made me feel like some kinda junkie for being in pain. I was visiting Victoria on holiday for motoGP and got one hell of a toothache it was ten at night, I took some Panadol and ibuprofen it didn’t settle. By 2am I was in so much pain I googled a hospital and these guys came up. Never have I ever had somebody refuse to help. I’m a nurse I help people every day and this Dr was so rude sending me away telling me I was faking. The one star goes to the young nurse who opened the door for me as I left. Disgraceful. I sit here now writing this in my car in utter agony. As there is nowhere I can go now for help. I will be taking this further.

I had to take my partner here after she had a bad reaction to some seafood , Dr Amhed & the nurses / staff were fantastic
