We had smashed avocado . And native iced coffee. Excellent food . The cafe has a v relaxed vibe . Cute little place with great food selection. There are vegetarian options . Would definitely recommend.

We had the best breakfast in Alice Spring, here at Base Cafe. After a good night rest, we felt fresh and wanna explore what's good to fill our tummy.

Service & Ambient [4.5] Friendly staff who is patience to let you decide what's for breakfast. Cafe setting looks cosy and nice, with different type of tables and chairs, indoor or outdoor. Ensure you ask if there is surcharge if paying by card.

Food [5]. Firstly, their coffee were great. Had ordered different breakfast and all taste great too.

Will recommend anyone wanna fill their tummy with joy for a good start of the morning or perhaps any time of the day.

Over priced and portions small for the price charged but service is accommodating and patient. A small brownie and some sweet treats were almost $8 a pop! Pleasantly got surprised when I tried to sanitise and clean with wet wipes the high chair and the area where we'd be eating to find that it was relatively clean and free of dust. Winning. Steak sandwich was tasty. Milkshake was delightful. Wasn't too impressed on how small the portion of egg was for my bub whilst one could buy 2/3 of a dozen with $3 I spend on eggs

Very good atmosphere and food is amazing though limited options only. Tried their dukkah eggs, potato salad, chicken pesto sandwich, banoffee smoothee and peach ice tea. All were delicious.

Great service in a lovely setting which was originally a base for services in late 1930's untill it was moved to the present sight at current airport The flying doctor is an integral part of the centre medical services and the origanal office is now beside the museum for all to see The building is the origanal with its high rooves and verandas that have been closed in over the years with the advent of airconditioning a solid brick building designed to bear the cold winter and hot summers A lovely setting both inside and out and well worth the visit
