Been here just under 3 weeks. When I arrived I was a mess. The programs they run by staff and OTs are excellent and up to you if you attend.
I felt safe in my surrounds here at all times. Staff like you to attend group and be apart of it but it’s up to you. I found relaxation group, sensory group and “get away” group of interest and relaxation. The more you involve yourself the more you get out of it. The nursing staff become like your second family engaging and ensuring you’re ok.
For my stay and requirements, it’s been a game changer given I was not well and now feel in a better position to restart my journey once again

This place is an absolute joke, there is a zero care factor for the people who stay there , they don’t do anything to help through out the day - besides the groups , apart from the set groups - there is No Care , no one on one to work on goals , I’ve stayed here and was asked what my goals were which I told them, got introduced to my nominatied “support worker” and as far as I understood I was ment to be working on theses goals while here, a stay of 14 days and not once have I been approached to do any one on one care to actually work on the goals I set for when coming in, they treat the people who stay here in a manner as. Such as “ we are below them “ also had a total lie made up about me by a staff member that stated things I apparently did BUT DID NOT DO AT ALL, when talking to the phsyc she spoke over me continuously, and keep saying the meeting was over when all I wanted to do was be heard , including rolling her eyes at me while I was talking to her , they are far from careing and far from professional, I do not recommend this place at all, I’ve been in other PARC - places and they are so much more careing and actually engage with thier clients , so very disappointed in this place , would of be better off to stay in the Swanston centre for the extended time but even they wernt much help ,
