Booked online as a new patient and was randomly allocated to Dr Delaney, the booking was accepted, I received a confirmation text the day before my appointment and confirmed it, left work to attend my appointment, got there early and filled out the new patient info form before checking in.
Once handing it back I was left waiting for just over half an hour before being told that Dr Delaney wasn't accepting new patients, despite being able to book online? Don't waste your time, the young receptionist was lovely but they should have honoured their mistake, given that they had plenty of time to rectify the issue before I attended my appointment. Very disappointed, especially for a privately billing service.

My mum had an appointment for 11.45am with Dr. Fiona Delaney. Finally at 12.56pm the doctor came out and asked her to come in. I took time off work to bring my mum to this Medical Centre, had to call work and tell them I’m not sure when I’ll get back. This seems to be a constant issue as this has happened before nearly every time my mum has had to visit this Doctor. Unfortunately elderly patients are not keen on change but ‘Ill be trying to talk her into finding another Doctor and Medical Centre

I have always had a pleasant experience with Barrier Reef Medical for my now 5 year old. Today was however exceptional service. We received a warm welcome and both my little man and I felt at ease instantly. Dr Sung was fantastic with giving advice on bedtime routine and spoke to my son about good and bad behaviours for bedtime. It worked a treat. Hence my review. Also the way Dr Sung prepared and administered his flu vaccination was incredible. Last time he had a needle he screamed the place down (another clinic). On today's occasion no reaction no tears no nothing. It was a great experience. Even the lovely lady on reception could not believe he had a needle. She rewarded his bravery with a small present. I now have a very brave kid and it was all due to the lovely experience we had today. Thank you.

Great experience with most of the staff, only one nurse was rude when she called my name and I was gathering my things to get up she told me to hurry up, I understand there are alot of patients to see but It sometimes takes a lot of courage to attend certain appointments for people. However, my doctor I was seeing was very nice and made me feel at ease and comfortable she gained my trust and I felt good to return for follow up appointments (which is a big deal for me)

I'd give this medical practice a zero if I could, from the receptionists to the doctor to a nurse, every single one of them has been extremely unhelpful, rude and spoke down to me. Charged for a long appointment the doctor would not do the blood tests I requested (as had issues in past) Stay far far away from this place. You will not receive any quality of care or respect or be treated with any dignity at all.

I was misleadingly advised on the phone that one of the doctor Matt was interested in Sport injuries. If unable to help a senior doctor could help him.
That was a waste of time and $126 for a specialist consultation ? All I got was the name of a Physio and no referral. He’s a simple GP with it felt little experience.
The nurses were really friendly and helpful. Such a shame. I feel none the wiser, poorer and disappointed

A true Family Doctor Surgery with constant doctors. Our whole family has seen the same doctor for near 10 years, and on the times when my girls want to see a female doctor, same thing, they've seen the same female doctor that whole time. Long term, caring doctors and staff with in house pathology make this place perfect for families and long term, high needs patients. And punctual, which is a rarity in near any surgery.
