It's disappointing that even rate payers don't get help from council for shyt.the rate payers should be entitled to help, but council just help themselves the rates keep going up and still get nothing in return need to help the people back not just your selfish selves disgusting

Very disappointing coming through Barcaldine this time. Pubs now either closed down or turned into something else. None of the ones open even serve food anymore! Virtually nothing open on the weekends and no where to eat!
We travel consistently through rural Australian outback towns and have never come across this situation. It looks like soon these once thriving towns will be no more! It's sad to see. 😌😢

A big thank you to the Barcaldine Regional Council for the wonderful facilities at the show grounds. We had a few days stop over there and I must say, it is a credit to you all. The lady at the front counter at the council office was so nice and helpful and because we were waiting on a job to come through the council allowed us to stay longer. I wish nothing but good things for this great town and those that are keeping it alive and pumping.

We have been coming through here many times and always enjoyed our stop here. Lovely clean ammenities. We were disappointed to hear today that the pricing has altered. $27 a night for power is reasonable, BUT to charge the same for unpowered is ridiculous. Why would a tent site only be $5 ? what is the difference ! It is obvious that Mr Stephen Boxall must have financial interest in the caravan parks. We who like free range camping will not go to caravan parks. The money we bring to support the west will not be spent in your town. If we don't stop, We don't spend. We were going to stay 3 nights ,but decided to move on.

Jericho department council should mow vacant blocks of land in between houses not just town strip or where they want to bit disappointing and clean up the snake pits around town to.and be a bit more water considerate seen as they have sprinklers on all day every day they dont save or restict water at all but expect the town people to😑

Congratulations on developing your Rec Park with all its facilities and proposed additions in the near future. We will definitely ensure we stop over in town and go explore this worthwhile addition to your area. Well Done.

Not "authorised" to do anything.
The admin are great but that's customer support, separate issue..actual council isn't qualified to run a lemonade stand.
