By far the MOST appalling mental health team in the Liverpool and Bankstown area. Not only did rhey drop the ball my Dr went on leave leaving me there an extra week. Then having wrong contact for my kin for over a week after the fact of having correct numbers on purpose didn't give discharge papers so I would have to pick it up week after the fact. I suggest any patients ill treated contact HCCC as I have done so. Hence why accreditation was done but my complaint hasn't gone in yet. Social worker only person who did what they said they were going to do.. all that neees to be done is a paper uploaded to the Esystem so my go can access it. Its too hard basket. Use all resources available. They didn't even organise an uver anyone who says great care have no idea how patients need to be treated.. these people take care of mental health they can't be behaving like this. Glad I waited to put my complaint in and this just builds what I have said in my verbal complaint. Adults bullying how Fantastic nurses educated people

Honestly my experience at this mental health facility was 9.9/10 I was very impressed with the quality of care provided and the fact that they treat people who are very unwell and hence sometimes paranoid and on edge with respect, tender love and care. This is the place where underdogs turn into champions and become philanthropists. This place taught me that if you strip a person of everything they have externally at the core if you are fighter it doesn't matter how many losses you take you will always win in the end. But always keep 10 toes down. Blessings on the way for everyone we will all win and get to eat.

ATTN Parents- Do not allow your family member to be confined here. They will control everything and ensure that your your family member will not come out of this place.
They take advantage of the illness and manipulate them to stay in this hospital though they have poor services.
They assume that they have better services than the private hospital while the people who is treating your family member is just a junior psychiatrist (Tharindu Kamishkat Mallawarrachichi, training specialist only). They will ensure that you cannot move your son/daughter to a private facility and convert their status from voluntary/involuntary.
This place is the worst place to confine your son/daughter ,brother/sister/mother/father who is struggling with mental illness. They treat you like criminals and so strict and would not allow you to enter the area where my family member is waiting. They talk over you and their mind is already programmed to say "NO" and do not even know what you are going to say. Though you are willing to comply with the protocol of inspecting what you have provided to their patient.
Majority of the nurses are unprofessional and do not treat you with respect, and boss you around. All of them, just stuck to that small room and doing nothing, pretending to be busy.
If you want to relay a message to the specialist, they won't entertain you and do not even lift a finger to assist you.. Such a small thing to request, they make it so impossible.

The senior psychiatrist (Folorunso Oyekam) is not even helpful. Neither the social worker (Hira Farhat) they will not provide any thing that you needed, they do not want to move and do their job. What they do is discharge the patient so they do not have to do the extra work for them to assist you.

came there for help with mental health issues and they attempted to lock me up in a psych ward and take my phone. I came here of my own free will after waiting 8 hours in triage, I just wanted to see a specialist, they told me I couldn't leave and would need to stay the night to see one, I told them I was happy to come back tomorrow if the specialist wasn't there, upon hearing me refuse to give up my phone and wanting to leave, a rather large female nurse threatened to have me "sectioned" if I didn't comply. She then had a doctor come in to assess me, at which point the doctor decided I was infact fit to leave, (I heard the big female nurse in the other room lying to the doctor, saying I was being erratic and uncontrollable) once the doctor said I was fit to leave, the nurse was speechless and left the room, would not recommend this place at all. Also btw I'm pretty sure the only reason they allowed me to leave is because they realised they could of been sued if they had kept me their against my will, as I had come there of my own free will

The staff don’t listen or help request a small thing they make it impossible if you try talking to staff they just put there hand in your face and walk away you don’t get treated like a human here
