We transferred to Ballenger Creek Wellness Solutions a few years ago. My husband and I started the IP program in a different state and needed to find a local center. Lorie and the staff were so very helpful with the process of transferring our program (we were already in maintenance) and treated us like we had been with them since the beginning. Hello, my name is Linda Valentine and I am a client past and present of Ballenger Creek Wellness Solutions, Ideal Protein Weight Loss Clinic. I joined the clinic in April 2015 at 44 years old, 206lbs, 5'2" tall. My family physician considered me morbidly obese. I was on blood pressure medicine, cholesterol medicine, sugar pills, thyroid medicine, and my doctor was insisting I consider insulin. After having failed at many different diet attempts and many different diet pills, the last thing I wanted to consider was another weight loss diet. My husband had been a patient at Ballenger Creek Chiropractic for about 2 months and I had constantly come across the ideal protein Clinic there but was always skeptical that it was just another diet program that would never work. However, when the doctor started forcing me to make decisions on my health, I decided that this would be my last attempt before considering weight loss surgery. Today, I am thankful that I put aside my negative feelings for weight loss and gave Ballenger Creek Wellness Solutions a try. For the first two weeks, it was a little rough getting used to the program but after stepping on the scale and seeing the results from just following their advice and their program, the rest was a Breeze! After 6 months on the program, I reached my goal of 128lbs. My original goal was 130 lbs but I went 2 pounds below my goal so that when I phased off the program and expected a small weight gain I would be at my goal weight. I have been in maintenance since october and I have maintained my weight faithfully within 5lbs. In July, my husband and I bought a home and the move took two months and was very stressful on our family. During that time, some of my old eating habits crept up and there were many nights where fast food became our choice for meals. Knowing that the program works, I went straight back into my clinic and have since gone back to phase 1 of the program, faithfully, and I am almost back at my goal weight. I am so truly thankful that I found this program because not only does it work, it is easy and I am never hungry. Since my first 3 months into the program back in late July, early August 2015, I have gone off all medications except for my thyroid medication and my doctor says I am in excellent health. I went from a size 18 pants to a size 4 pants and a size 2x men's shirt to a medium ladies shirt. The funny part is I lost a shoe size as well!
