The Wednesday Team here were absolutely fantastic!! Felicity, Matt and the rest of the girls, I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone was very welcoming and caring. With big smiles as you walked through the door, this instantly gave us the feeling that “yay these people are actually going to be able to help us”. Very knowledgeable and prompt service. The next time I have a mishap I’ll be sure to go straight to the team to be looked after, and put back in action again. Thank you

I went there with referred pain in my back from my top, middle chest. Was seen quickly but the doctor I saw was so flippant and cold and told me I needed to eat more fibre and have breakfast. Sent me for an xray and the radiologist couldn't make head nor tail of his instructions.
Weeks later at my GP I find out I have a severe bug in my gut and an ulcer that caused those symptoms.
The dismissal of that doctor at urgent care is disgusting. The doctor should have been put out to pasture long ago, well past his use date. I have a feeling the doctors they employ there are actually the ones come back from retirement for minimal work between golf days. Appalling, do better.
Receptionist that day was lovely, the only redeeming thing about the place .

I took my toddler here as she had a nasty unexplainable rash spreading down her arms while visiting family in Ballarat. They told me it would be an hour to hour and a half wait. An hour and a half later I ask where we are in the line and I’m told it would probably be another two hours.
My toddler was exhausted and couldn’t wait any longer. I left and decided to take her back to Melbourne as it would be quicker. It’s unbelievable to make small children wait so long and waste our time. If they had said the wait was three hours I’d have just gone straight back to Melbourne where urgent care sees you within 30 minutes. If you have any choice don’t go here. The drive to Melbourne is quicker.

What a joke this place is!
The wait time is worse than the hospital itself!
Sorry but those people with common colds or flu symptoms should be sent away and told to follow up with a gp! Even better to have a cup of cement!
Not allowed to remain here only to clog up the resources of blood dripping patients that are actually in need ! As well as spreading more germs!!

Babies 0-1 are also flooding this place!
Ones that look and sound perfectly okay!

Will not return back here

I have visited this clinic previously and found it OK, and staff helpful.
Last time was a different story. We arrived 10 minutes before closing time, as my husband had just noticed a problem that needed checking out, so we jumped in the car straight away. We arrived to see staff pulling down the blinds and were refused entry, as the clinic was, in their words 'at capacity' (I looked inside and nobody was waiting - so this was clearly not true.).
I suppose doctors and nurses may want to walk out the door at closing time, and would like people to arrive an hour before closing time for their convenience, but I don't think this is what the government funds these clinics for. Shortly after, the clinic was moved to anther location and its closing time extended to 11.00pm. (or is that 10.50pm?) [I also notice the new clinic is upstairs - is there a lift?]
I wondered what would happen to someone who had arrived say, by taxi, or from out of town, and would then have to stagger up to the hospital. Nobody asked us if we were OK to get to the hospital, so I guess the answer to my question is that they wouldn't care.

There was no urgency and no care. I was there for about 4 hours. There were parents with very young children there even after I left. They were understandably agitated with the time it was taking to be seen.
Thankfully there was no one there with life threatening symptoms because a normal GP could have seen all the people there in under 2 hours with a better result than today.
I do not usually post negative reviews however I was extremely disappointed especially after I had bragged to people previously about how great they were (when they were in Windermere Street). I will no longer be recommending them

Just took my daughter here with an asthma attack. Our nurse Julie and Dr whose name I cannot recall sorry were amazing. They attended to her straight away and when they felt she wasn’t responding quickly enough to treatment, they called the ambos to transfer her to Ballarat Base. They were thoroughly professional, kind and caring with great communication throughout. Thank you!

came here for self inflicted wounds. staff are professional and understanding, stitches were perfect. only issue is the waiting time, but that's to be expected of any medical centre.
