No star rating! Very disgusted of the treatment for being just under 10min late. Appointment was for 1120am
The receptionist approached me at 1143 said Dr will be a while, I asked how long, I had work at 12. She said it just depends.
She just kept reminding me “cos I was late”
blah blah. I had said only by 10mins & that it takes us 15-20mins to sit on the waiting room anyways..
A patient got called in. 1205 I spoke to the same receptionist and said the doctor had seen 2 patients so far. I asked do I have to wait an hour for my appointment & that I had to go to work. She just said it’s up to Dr Anton when he can fit you in! Gobsmacked I said that is ridiculous and was forced to walk out! They made out it wasn’t obvious what the f was going on but I could see what was going on. Mind you the 2 patients appointments were definitely longer than 10mins. Never again

I am a full time carer for a Chronically ill male with a serious Heart condition who needed a care plan from the doctor at Balance Medical Practice
After waiting 3 weeks he finally attended his appointment Tuesday 1st October 2024 but was greeted by this arrogant Doctor who refused to do the care plan for him stating he must see the previous doctor he saw at the SAME medical practice but after explaining he doesn't feel comfortable with seeing a female doctor but rather prefer a male, the doctor said and I will quote ( I AM NOT DOING A CARE PLAN FOR YOU )and then asked this patient to leave his office and then proceeded to push him out of the door by grabbing him on his left shoulder THAT'S ASSAULT. I am aware that the owner of Balance Medical Practice called the person I care for to discuss on what happened that day and both verbally agreed that he can't attend this practice again, Well I am not so forgiving and being his full time carer I am reporting this practice to the Medical Board so don't lose the CCTV footage will you

I’d say Dr Malcom Fairleigh needs to look at a new occupation. Rolled his eyes when i said i had Influenza A (after i told reception when i made the appointment, they said it was okay). Moaned and rolled his eyes again when i asked for my next round of Champix. It’s your job mate, get over yourself. Would not recommend him at all.

Worst service ever by the reception team. I called up asking about my blood results and asked for a copy. They then said that I had to book another appointment and pay the fee to get the results ( my own data) I tried to explain why I needed it now and the receptionist laughed at me.

I was told I would have a call back (never happened) I put through a complaint about my experience and was told I would be contacted to resolve the issue (never happened).

Appointment was an hour and a half late, I received a script in my email that I DID NOT ask for. I had to chase doctor nayak down for over an hour to finally get the appointment I paid for. Pathetic service, will be changing suppliers.

Appointment was 45 minutes late, doctor was wrong about my issue and their advice made no sense. Utter waste of time. Looks like a nice experience if you are already a patient there though (many came in and out swiftly and seemed very happy)

When I enquired about my appointment 35 minutes after the booked time, the receptionist did not even offer an apology, simply saying I was next and the last patient had just left. Was still another 10 whole minutes before my doctor came to get me for my appointment. Very displeased.

Useless practice. The standard consultation is 10 minutes... if you're a minute over you get charged extra and the patient was given other patients personal details and an incorrect invoice not matching what she had paid. Wasted more time going back to the practice to get the correct information and the Doctor advised he had forgotten something to tell her when she got there. We will not be back.
