I have been learning Tai Chi with this Academy for 35 years. The biggest improvement I had is my general health and flexibility has increased. The people in the class are very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoy the detail they provide when breaking down the movements. I join the classes in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle area.

Workshops and seminars with Grandmaster Gary Khloe and Master Aaron Khor are very beneficial to my learning as my incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine learning too.

We started our Tai Chi and Qigong journey in 2004 mostly for stress management and general health in the Campbelltown class of the Academy of Tai Chi and Qigong.
We experienced so much more benefit from this simple but dynamic set of movements. Great for the mind and body.
After 5 years of learning, we were asked and decided to become instructors, this gave us an opportunity to not only enable others to enjoy the art of Tai Chi and Qigong but also refine our own skills.
We have had ongoing training under Grand Master Gary Khor and in recent times Master Aaron Khor.
Their knowledge and understanding of this is exceptional.
We could not recommend them and the Academy highly enough.

If you have ever thought about giving this a go, don't wait, there is no time like the present to start your Tai Chi journey.

I had an incredible experience with the Australian Academy of Tai Chi. From the very first class, Aaron created a welcoming and supportive environment that made learning easy and enjoyable. His approach is calm, clear, and grounded in real experience, which helped me feel at ease straight away.

Aaron taught me the basics of Tai Chi in a way that was simple to follow but still rich with insight. He took the time to explain each movement, its purpose, and how it could support my health and wellbeing. I noticed improvements in my posture, flexibility, and overall body awareness after just a few lessons.

What really stood out was how confident I felt walking away after each session. Aaron’s guidance made the learning process accessible and empowering. If you’re looking to improve your health, movement, or just want to try something new with a fantastic teacher, I’d absolutely recommend the Australian Academy of Tai Chi.

Learning and practicing Tai Chi has been of great benefit to me personally for breathing, stability, leg and core strength as well as the ability to relax when life gets hectic.
Now as an instructor, it gives me great pleasure to be able to pass these benefits on to my students.

Aaron is an absolutely brilliant teacher (and I've tried other schools). He is a joy to watch and lean from and he also explains the reasons and benefits behind the movements. I enjoy taking the time out for myself and to improve my concentration, flexibility and overall health. I always feel great after class and the benefits continue with practice..
There are many beginners, so don't worry about being left behind as Aaron and Wendy are very patient. Tai Chi (when learnt from skilled instructors) is the best thing you can do for both your physical and mental health.

I really enjoyed my Tai Chi session! It was easy to follow, and I felt so calm and relaxed throughout. The movements were gentle but surprisingly effective in strengthening my legs and improving my posture. A great way to unwind and stay active at the same time!

I started Tai Chi several years ago with the Academy. I did it for stress and building body strength. I have now started Tai Chi again as their classes are very detailed, simple and easy to learn. I would highly recommend learning from this academy.

I really enjoyed the class learning how to strengthen my legs and breathe consistently. The classes at the academy are great because they actually teach you how to use your body instead of moving your arms around. The movements are easy to learn and follow, movements are broken down step by step. I highly recommend learning Tai Chi from this Academy.
