Omg where to start... my brother lives here (well merely lives here) what a disgrace of a complex.. to say disgusting would be over rated. The owners oprica and George are so full on yelling and screaming at the residents is just not called for (clearly they have no training in dealing with mental health or disability). Let's start with the facility. There is no air-conditioning only in the dining area. None in there rooms. Laundry is done by the residents but they can only do it on certain days or there is a resident that will do.it for them. Rooms are merely cleaned once a week and just brushed over to say the least. The cleaner is the mother of one of the residents.... I bet his room is cleaned more regularly and well!!! Now the food pffft!!! Sweet n sour nuggets... 3 nuggets per serve...
Chicken legs... 1 leg per serve... spaghetti bolagnaise 1 kg mince the rest veg. Pretty sure the Australian national standard is 80gm to100gms of protein per serve. Sandwiched pre made and frozen down for convenience. The milk buys full cream milk then splits it over other cartons and tops it with milk powder and water I have seen the kitchen hand do this on several occasions. Now let's talk rent. Apparently this is a support house..... pfft. My brother in law was offered (under direct orders from oprica) to sign the contract reduced rent.. was promised if he didn't sign then he would have to.move out he is not the first to be told this this is the worst place ever. The smoking area OMG these people have neutral health issues and disabilities if they don't keep the area clean they are not aloud to.smoke... really y don't you have staff to.momitor this you are meant to be a SUPPORTED ACCOMADATION WHERE IS THE SUPPORT o that's right it's supporting your bank account my brother in law will be leaving soon and I can assure you Al the relevant NDIS officers will know what you are doing o and you will be getting a visit soon from the relevant officers to control you and how you are lying and manuliputating the residents. And riping them off with your lies

I have visited a number of assisted living facilities and must say that this is hands down one of the best! The staff really care for the residents and it shows in their daily interactions and the way they go above and beyond with their support. You can also see how appreciative the residents are in the way they interact with each other. Beautiful large clean property with plenty of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place. I have visited the facility on many occasions and the vibe is welcoming here and the staff always have a smile on their faces and are very helpful and friendly in every way. They have fresh food cooked on a daily basis. Their rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. There is always a buzz here the residents are lovely to have a chat with.

Amazing Facility Amazing food Amazing service Amazing care

I recently visited a very close friend of mine who lived and been taking care of by Auscare. I stayed there for a full half a day just to make sure my friend was being genuinely cared for, my observations were.
1. very clean spacious facility compared to others
2. the food was amazing,healthy indeed, on this particular day grilled fish, healthy boiled vegetables and cheesecake for desert was served. I joked around with the lady who was the chef and said she should enter MKR because the food looked and tasted amazing. I was kindly offered a serving
3. i had a sense not only my friend but the other cared for people felt like they were all family. a lot of respect, humour, and friendship was felt not only with the care guest but the management reciprocated this as well. i was caught by surprise because it felt like home.
4. i was delighted to see a billiard table in the recreation room and i played against some of the talented guests so that was great to see that a pool table is there for any one to use.
5. i have to praise the workers and the management because they all had personality and tolerance to everyone in the facility i personal highly recommend Auscare Cotlew street for anyone who needs to be admitted to such a facility. My mind can rest now, as i know my dearest friend is being looked after in a homely friendly environment!!!!

Auscare provide great support care services for the people who live there and great meals , all of the staff is friendly and kind to the residents there.
