Back in 2011, I saw this neurologist twice after a forklift accident left me with a brain bleed. Despite that, he diagnosed me with lifelong epilepsy—something I had never experienced before, with no family history and no complications growing up. He insisted the seizure had nothing to do with the injury, and said it was just how my body was.

I no longer have paperwork from that time, but I’ll never forget how dismissed I felt. That diagnosis turned my life upside down—affecting my independence, career, and mental health. I also found his attitude cold and arrogant, which made the experience even harder.

This is my honest experience. I hope others seeking care get better attention and more thoughtful assessment than I did.

Dr Sturm is incredible. I have been seeing him for nearly 4 years. He treated me during what was an extremely worrying time, and was so supportive, nurturing and caring... His ongoing treatment is exactly the same. I can't recommend him enough!!

Amazing doctor, very calm helpful in explaining options for resolving issues. A bit dissatisfied with the billing practice. Doctor booked me a follow up injection stating that there was no cost. No fee listed on appointment card. Turned up to appointment, had injection, only to be informed by reception that the injection was covered but it was $200 for the doctor appointment. Would have been fine if they had told the cost upfront at the previous visit. Will still return as Dr Sturm is a great doctor, just make sure to confirm costs in writing next time.

I have been a patient of Dr Sturm for 5 and a half years, he went above and beyond to try and find the cause of my Neuropathy but my body decided to keep it a secret.

He is a no nonsense doctor, very straight forward with his discussion of your medical diagnosis and treatments, but please do not mistake this for apruptness or rudeness.

Dr Sturm's "bedside" manner has nothing but empathy towards his patients and the patients
family including their personal situations.
